Ezekiel's Mathematical Pathway to the Rapture - David Wills - March 4th,2026

Published on 4 March 2026 at 18:31

Introduction

As we continue to watch for the Return of Jesus, God continues to confirm that we are near the end through various patterns hidden in His Word. While the following does not make any attempt at determining a specific date it does, I believe, affirm in a very powerful way that the Rapture is the next major event on God's prophetic end-time calendar and that this is going to occur very soon.

In this regard, things may have just taken a giant leap forward prophetically, with the strike of Israel and the US upon Iran, that eliminated the Iranian supreme leader Ali Khamenei and many of his senior leaders. So, before we progress with the central revelation of my article, that will detail Ezekiel's mathematical pathway to the Rapture, I believe we need to briefly consider what has just occurred here, and how it is prophetically playing into the end-times.

Iran and Jeremiah 49

Notably, in what I believe could be a word from the LORD, given by Pastor Jack Hibbs, who is the founder and senior pastor of Calvary Chapel Chino Hills in Southern California, we could be looking at a simultaneous fulfilling of the prophecy in Jeremiah 49 that speaks about Elam (which is part of Iran) and Ezekiel 38. Firstly Jeremiah 49 says:

34 The word of the LORD that came to Jeremiah the prophet against Elam in the beginning of the reign of Zedekiah king of Judah, saying,
35 Thus saith the LORD of hosts; Behold, I will break -- the bow of Elam, the chief of their might36 And upon Elam will I bring the four winds from the four quarters of heaven, and will scatter them toward all those winds; and there shall be no nation whither the outcasts of Elam shall not come37 For I will cause -- Elam to be dismayed before their enemies, and before them that seek their life: and I will bring evil upon them, even -- my fierce anger, saith the LORD; and I will send -- the sword after them, till I have consumed -- them: 38 And I will set my throne in Elam, and will destroy from thence the king and the princes, saith the LORD. 39 But it shall come to pass in the latter days, that I will bring again -- the captivity of Elam, saith the LORD. Jeremiah 49:34-39

Essentially, there are 3 Components to this:

1) Breaking the Bow - which is symbolic of destroying their capacity to launch missiles.

2) Scattering the people of Iran into all the nations on earth.

3) In the Latter days, bringing the people back to Iran.

For decades, most scholars have held the belief that because Elam was historically in the area occupied by what is south-west Iran today, that is home to some of Iran's nuclear facilities, the 'breaking of the Bow' and the 'scattering of the people' could ultimately involve some sort of nuclear catastrophe. However, prior to the strike of the US and Israel on the weekend, Pastor Jack Hibbs released a video titled "The Stage is Being Set For The End Times!" - It can be viewed below:

In this video, he made an important observation about Jeremiah 49, suggesting that the scattering of millions of Iranians (Elam) into all nations on earth had already occurred in 1979, when the Iranian Revolution took place, and the people fled the oppressive regime that was being set up. Ultimately, if this is valid, then the 'Breaking of the Bow' that is currently taking place, with the ongoing operations of Israel and the US, that are designed to destroy Iran's ability to fire missiles into Israel and other countries, then only the 'third part' of the prophecy, as stated in Jeremiah 49:39 remains:

39 But it shall come to pass in the latter days, that I will bring again -- the captivity of Elam, saith the LORD. Jeremiah 49:39

Basically, Jack Hibbs was also suggesting that this could take place in conjunction with Ezekiel 38, and I believe that this is absolutely possible. Given, as I have stated numerous times, that I also believe Ezekiel 38 is going to be almost simultaneous with the Rapture (either being the trigger for it, or by being triggered by it), it is definitely worth considering this suggestion.

One possible scenario is as follows:

As the imminent Ezekiel 38 war includes Persia (Iran), in the armies that come against Israel, we can be reasonably certain that this war needs to occur soon, because President Trump has 3 years to run on his term of office, and it is unlikely that the shattered IRGC and the Regular (Artesh) armies of Iran are going to be able to withstand the combined might of Israel and the US for this length of time.

In this regard, a couple of videos I saw this morning (March 04 2026) indicate that Israel has "just struck the Supreme Council Gathering where the Iranians were meeting to choose a new Supreme Leader". This is extremely significant because it shows that Israel and the US are not going to allow the wicked regime to rebuild itself in any meaning way going forward. Clearly this is impacting upon the IRGC Guardsmen because a second video includes a short clip that appears to have been posted on X by a guardsman of the IRGC who has removed his uniform and is calling for his fellow guardsmen to do the same.

Please be warned that there is unfortunately some profanity in this second video by Tal Oran, so you may prefer not to watch it. You will no doubt be able to find some of this material elsewhere, but it came up in my feed this morning and there are some interesting clips that he has included, as he is an Israeli who have been living in an out of bomb shelters in Israel the last few days.

Also, in terms of timing, it is equally unlikely that Russia; Turkey; Libya; and others, are going to launch an attack while Trump is in office because the US undoubtedly have the most powerful army in the world and Russia, that appears to be leading the Gog / Magog war, has been severely weakened. So, this all seems to strongly support the idea that the Rapture could occur soon, for while the Iranian regime and both their IRGC and Artesh forces are decimated, the bible shows that they will still be in place to participate in the Ezekiel 38 war.

However, if the Rapture did occur soon, before there is a regime change in Iran, then this would remove millions from the earth and would likely reduce both the Israeli and US Administrations and their military forces to 'near empty shells' as well. Then, in the days after the Rapture, after the dust settles and the world takes stock, I believe the globalists, who would no longer have any real opposition, would be emboldened by this; and because it is an appointed time where God initiates events by putting a hook in their jaws, as Ezekiel 38:4 says, then the Ezekiel 38 war would take place:

4 And I will turn thee back, and put hooks into thy jaws, and I will bring thee forth, and -- all thine army, horses and horsemen, all of them clothed with all sorts of armor, even a great company with bucklers and shields, all of them handling swords: Ezekiel 38:4

The words 'turning thee back', sounds like it relates to Russia's armies, following the cataclysmic events of the Rapture, that would most likely end the Russia -Ukraine war. Effectively, they would be heading back home, in the North, before God turns them around:

5 Then you will come from your place out of the far north, you and many peoples with you, all of them riding on horses, a great company and a mighty army. Ezekiel 38:15

Remembering also that since late 2025, the Russian military has been training soldiers to use horses for combat and logistics in the Donetsk region of Ukraine, specifically within the 9th Motorized Rifle Brigade of the 51st Army. This tactic, involving two soldiers on one horse for assaults, is said to be a desperate move to counter, navigate, and avoid detection by Ukrainian drones, landmines, and artillery.

As Putin is desperate for energy and resources, due to the depletion of both in the extended war with the Ukraine, he will have the thought of taking some spoils from Israel:

10 Thus saith the Lord GOD; It shall also come to pass, that at the same time shall things come into thy mind, and thou shalt think an evil thought: 11 And thou shalt say, I will go up to the land of unwalled villages; I will go to them that are at rest, that dwell safely, all of them dwelling without walls, and having neither bars nor gates, 12 To take a spoil, and to take a prey; to turn thine hand upon the desolate places that are now inhabited, and upon the people that are gathered out of the nations, which have gotten cattle and goods, that dwell in the midst of the land. Ezekiel 38:10-12

As I don't believe Trump would still be here at that time, then only a few voices such as Saudi Arabia (Sheba and Dedan) and perhaps England and Spain (Merchants of Tarshish); and a weakened US and Australia (the Young Lions) etc., would question the attack saying:

13 Sheba, and Dedan, and the merchants of Tarshish, with all the young lions thereof, shall say unto thee, Art thou come to take a spoil? hast thou gathered thy company to take a prey? to carry away silver and gold, to take away cattle and goods, to take a great spoil? Ezekiel 38:13

Then, at that time, God will give Israel a massive victory and will magnify Himself:

18 And it shall come to pass at the same time when Gog shall come against the land of Israel, saith the Lord GOD, that my fury shall come up in my face. 19 For in my jealousy and in the fire of my wrath have I spoken, Surely in that day there shall be a great shaking in the land of Israel; 20 So that the fishes of the sea, and the fowls of the heaven, and the beasts of the field, and all creeping things that creep upon the earth, and all the men that are upon the face of the earth, shall shake at my presence, and the mountains shall be thrown down, and the steep places shall fall, and every wall shall fall to the ground. 21 And I will call for a sword against him throughout all my mountains, saith the Lord GOD: every man’s sword shall be against his brother22 And I will plead against him with pestilence and with blood; and I will rain upon him, and upon his bands, and upon the many people that are with him, an overflowing rain, and great hailstones, fire, and brimstone. 23 Thus will I magnify myself, and sanctify myself; and I will be known in the eyes of many nations, and they shall know that I am the LORD. Ezekiel 38:18-23

This victory will become the prompt for the Antichrist to confirm the covenant for 7 years - it will be to protect the world against Israel not Israel from the world; and during this time millions of Iranians, that did not go in the Rapture, will return to Iran in the final fulfilment of Jeremiah 49; and because the Iranian armies will be destroyed in the Ezekiel 38 war, they will be able to live in some sort of freedom in the first 3.5 years of the Tribulation, during which time Revelation 8 states that Heaven will be silent:

1 "And when he had opened the seventh seal, there was silence in heaven about the space of half an hour." Revelation 8:1

We know that the Great Tribulation spoken of by Jesus in Matthew 24:21-22 does not begin until the Trumpets start blowing, and a close reading of Revelation shows that this does not happen until just before the middle of the Tribulation. So, during the first half of the Tribulation, there will be the ministry of the Two Witnesses and the 144,000 sealed Jewish believers, that I believe will result in a second mid-Tribulation Rapture of Saints, as described in Revelation 14, just prior to the middle of the final 7 years:

14 And I looked, and behold a white cloud, and upon the cloud one sat like unto the Son of man, having on his head a golden crown, and in his hand a sharp sickle. 15 And another angel came out of the temple, crying with a loud voice to him that sat on the cloud, Thrust in thy sickle, and reap: for the time is come for thee to reap; for the harvest of the earth is ripe. 16 And he that sat on the cloud thrust in his sickle on the earth; and the earth was reaped. Revelation 14:14-16

Then Michael the Arch Angel will stand up and there will be war in Heaven and Satan will finally be cast down completely, no longer able to access heaven, as he still could, such as when he appeared there to challenge God over Job:

6 Now there was a day when the sons of God came to present themselves before the LORD, and Satan came also among them. 7 And the LORD said unto Satan, Whence comest thou? Then Satan answered -- the LORD, and said, From going to and fro in the earth, and from walking up and down in it. 8 And the LORD said unto Satan, Hast thou considered my servant Job, that there is none like him in the earth, a perfect and an upright man, one that feareth God, and escheweth evil? 9 Then Satan answered -- the LORD, and said, Doth Job fear God for naught? Job 1:6-9

As I have a lot of other things to discuss, I will leave that topic there, except to say that the possibilities that arise out of the current events in Iran all serve to remind believers that it is time to truly KNOW the LORD, so that we do not hear those dreaded words recorded in Matthew 7 - "‘I never knew you; depart from Me...":

21 “Not everyone who says to Me, Lord, Lord,’ shall enter the kingdom of heaven, but he who does the will of My Father in heaven. 22 Many will say to Me in that day, ‘Lord, Lord, have we not prophesied in Your name, cast out demons in Your name, and done many wonders in Your name?’ 23 And then I will declare to them, ‘I never knew you; depart from Me, you who practice lawlessness!Matthew 7:21-23

Ezekiel's mathematical pathway to the Rapture

With all of that said, we can now turn our attention back to the central theme of this article. The importance of this study cannot be overstated, as I believe it also confirms that the Rapture is to occur soon, in line of what I have just outlined above in relation to Iran.

Additionally, it will highlight God's sovereignty over all of human history, revealing how 'He declares the 'End from the Beginning'. This serves not only to inform us of His plans, that He wants us to know as indicated in Amos 3:7 (the numbers in this reference are significant, and will be explained shortly), but it will also demonstrate some of the hidden mysteries within His Word, that can only be discovered through dedicated exploration. For as mentioned in Matthew 7, there are profound truths and rewards waiting for those who earnestly seek Him.

7 “Ask, and it will be given to you; seek, and you will find; knock, and it will be opened to you. 8 For everyone who asks receives, and he who seeks finds, and to him who knocks it will be opened. Matthew 7:7-8

Essentially, as these verses are all part of the same passage as His warning above, then Asking; Seeking; and Knocking are clearly related to Knowing Him and "Seek and you will find" is an amazing promise that God gives to all who believe in Him. He is essentially saying that spending time in prayer and in His Word, is a sure way of getting to know Him, as well as His plans and purposes. As the days increasingly become evil this is a great comfort because the wicked, as God says in Psalm 37 will soon be no more and the suffering of so many that seek righteousness will end:

1 Fret not thyself because of evildoers, neither be thou envious against the workers of iniquity. 2 For they shall soon be cut down like the grass, and wither as the green herb. 3 Trust in the LORD, and do good; so shalt thou dwell in the land, and verily thou shalt be fed. 4 Delight thyself also in the LORD; and he shall give thee the desires of thine heart. 5 Commit thy way unto the LORD; trust also in him; and he shall bring it to pass. 6 And he shall bring forth thy righteousness as the light, and thy judgment as the noonday. 7 Rest in the LORD, and wait patiently for him: fret not thyself because of him who prospereth in his way, because of the man who bringeth wicked devices to pass. 8 Cease from anger, and forsake wrath: fret not thyself in any wise to do evil. 9 For evildoers shall be cut off: but those that wait upon the LORD, they shall inherit the earth. 10 For yet a little while, and the wicked shall not be: yea, thou shalt diligently consider his place, and it shall not be. Psalms 37:1-10

With that in mind, I would like to expand on the fairly well-known numerical structure of Genesis 1:1 to make a connection with the book of Ezekiel that I believe confirms how close we are to the Rapture. Firstly however, particularly for those who are unfamiliar with the unique numerical structure of the bible's first verse, I will need to briefly discuss God's Personal Numbers, which act as a Seal upon His Word and form the foundation of this whole revelation.

God's Personal Numbers

Notably the bible reveals God as follows, in relation to the numbers 3 and 7:

3 - He is a Trinity - '3 Persons in 1' - Father, Son, and Holy Spirit.

7 - He has a 7-fold nature to His Spirit, as revealed in Isaiah 11:2

2 The Spirit of the LORD shall rest upon Him, the Spirit of wisdom and understanding, the Spirit of counsel and might, the Spirit of knowledge and of the fear of the LORD. Isaiah 11:2

This is again affirmed in Revelation Chapters 4 and 5, when John was taken in the spirit to heaven and had a vision of the throne of God, with this 7-fold nature of the Spirit being described.

5 And from the throne proceeded lightnings, thunderings, and voices. Seven lamps of fire were burning before the throne, which are the seven Spirits of God. Revelation 4:5

And

6 And I looked, and behold, in the midst of the throne and of the four living creatures, and in the midst of the elders, stood a Lamb as though it had been slain, having seven horns and seven eyes, which are the seven Spirits of God sent out into all the earth. Revelation 5:6

So, the very nature of God is associated with the numbers 3 and 7, which means that by extension He is also directly connected to the combination of these numbers that has two forms 37 and 73. Mathematically this gives us four numbers representing God - 3; 7; 37 and 73  - that are Prime Numbers, which means that they are only divisible by themselves and 1, and as such, they are special numbers that reflect the unchangeable nature of God. Throughout scripture we will often see bible references with these particular numbers and generally they will always have some connection to God, His nature, or His sovereignty, they are like His personal seal. An example of this was seen in Amos 3:7 above that declares the sovereign will of God towards those He calls His servants, in support of the idea that He wants us to know His plans and purposes:

7 Surely the Lord GOD will do nothing, but he revealeth his secret unto his servants the prophets. Amos 3:7

With regard to Prime Numbers, it is also worth noting that they are actually referred to as the atoms that form all positive composite numbers.  As such, they are the fundamental building blocks from which every whole number can be uniquely constructed. This idea is formalized as 'The Fundamental Theorem of Arithmetic' - that states, that every integer greater than 1 can be written uniquely as a product of prime numbers (up to the order of the factors). So, in the same way that atoms combine to form molecules, Primes combine to form all composite numbers. Notably of all the core numbers most commonly seen in the bible below, just 3 and 7 are primes:

• 1 (God the Father, oneness of God - or Godhead, unity)

• 3 (Holy Spirit - 3rd person of the Godhead, divine completeness, Trinity)

• 4 (creation, earth—four corners, four winds)

• 7 (completion, perfection, oath)

• 10 (fullness, law—Ten Commandments)

• 12 ('Seed of the Woman', tribes of Israel, apostles)

• 40 (testing, trial—40 days, 40 years)

• 70 (nations, elders, fullness of people)

Other primes (like 2, 5, 11, 13, 17, 19, 23, etc.) do appear in the Bible as plain quantities, and while 2 also represents Jesus as the 2nd person of the Godhead, it does not represent the fullness of the triune Godhead, as the number 3 does, noting also that the number 1 is not considered a Prime number. Also 5, in representing Grace is about the work of the Holy Spirit, so again is not about the fulness of the God Head. So, in all of these numbers, 3 and 7 stand uniquely as the primes that either represent divine completeness, or the Trinity, as well divine completion, or fulfillment by the Triune God - so they remain as very special numbers.

Numerical Value of Genesis 1:1

Given the significance of these two numbers (3 and 7) and the two numbers that they form (37 and 73), it should be no surprise that when they are combined, they create another very special number, as follows:

37 x 73 = 2701

This uniquely points to God, who created everything that exists, because it is the value of Genesis 1:1 that states:

1 In the beginning God created the heavens and the earth. Genesis 1:1

It does this because both Hebrew and Greek, the two primary languages of the original texts of the Bible, both have numeric values for each of their letters. The study of this is called Gematria, a term that is believed to derive from the Greek word geōmetriā (geometry) or grammateia (knowledge of writing).

The letter and values for the Hebrew Language are as below - Please note the following images are from the website of Peter Bluer (http://biblemaths.com/) - and I thoroughly recommend people visit his site for a lot of insightful material related to Bible numerics.

Hebrew Standard Gematria Values:

The values listed above can then be applied to the letters of the Hebrew Text of Genesis 1:1, that is shown on the Right →→→

When we do this we get the following numerical values for each of the Letters, that then combine to give a numerical value for each of the words:

The English translation for each of these words, along with the total value for each word, is shown below:

Then, when these are added together, we get we get 2701, as follows:

913 + 203 + 86 + 401 + 395 + 407 + 296 = 2701

Passages that are Numerically Linked

Now in Peter Bluer's video on this particular topic, he goes into some detail relating to the structure of the sentence showing its amazing connections to the number 7, but that is not the direction I want to take here. To lay the foundation for showing how Genesis 1:1 connects to the book of Ezekiel, I first want to spend a little time demonstrating how the Bible can connect passages both numerically and thematically.

To this end, it is extremely interesting to note, in a nod to that number 7, that not only is Genesis 1:1 numerically equivalent to 37 x 73 = 2701, but each of the following 6 verses are too:—Genesis 8:14; Leviticus 20:27; 2 Samuel 1:18; 1 Kings 8:15; Micah 6:9; and Nahum 2:20— for a total of 7 verses in all.

As will be seen, the intriguing numerical value of 2701 associated with these verses strongly suggests that the Book of Ezekiel may provide a crucial timing clue for the Rapture. Additionally, there is another hidden numerical link related to these 7 verses that further reinforces Ezekiel's timing insights. I will explore this in greater detail in a later section, but I wanted to mention it now to illustrate the profound layers God has embedded in His Word. These intricacies serve to enhance our understanding of the straightforward meaning of the text. It's important to clarify that I do not suggest God has concealed truths in patterns, or codes, that obscure, or are absent in the plain reading of Scripture. Rather, by uncovering these divinely placed patterns, we often discover connections and emphases that might otherwise go unnoticed. Ultimately, Scripture remains our sole source of truth.

Basically, this additional connection highlights the book numbers of each verse, beginning with Genesis. When you add them together, as I have done in the Table Below, you get a Total of 93

Verse Reference Bible Book Number - Counting from Genesis
Genesis 1:1 1
Genesis 8:14 1
Leviticus 20:27 3
2 Samuel 1:18 10
1 Kings 8:15 11
Micah 6:9 33
Nahum 2:20 34
Total 1 + 1 + 3 + 10 + 11 + 33 + 34 = 93

The significance of this number will be discussed in the section titled " Ezekiel's Prophetic Clock Marker", for while it does appear in scripture, it does not do so directly, only by inference. So, it is there, but it will require some explanation later.

Nevertheless, it’s truly remarkable how only God could orchestrate this dual numerical relationship between these 7 verses (involving both 2701 and 93), as well as to craft themes between them that creates a prophetic arc, that mirrors the overarching narratives found throughout the Bible. So, with that said, the following will now explore how each of these 7 verses, that uniquely carry the value of 2701, being the only ones in the whole bible that do so, are also thematically and prophetically linked to Genesis 1:1.

Exploring the Prophetic Significance of Genesis 8:14 and Genesis 1:1

14 And in the second month, on the twenty-seventh day of the month, the earth was dried. Genesis 8:14

Starting with Genesis 8:14, we find that like Genesis 1:1 it establishes the absolute Sovereignty of God, who desires to establish a place that is perfect and holy, so that He can dwell with His people that bear His image and freely choose to be with Him, in an eternal relationship founded upon Love and Grace. Contextually, Genesis 8:14 relates to the precise day when the earth, at the time of Noah's flood, became dry and God told Noah to go out of the Ark. It is one of those deceptively simple verses that carries enormous symbolic weight, when read alongside Genesis 1:1, because when you place them in a dialogue, a profound prophetic pattern emerges:

God brings creation out of chaos twice — once cosmically, once covenantally.

The following will outline this to hopefully make it clear:

1. The Two Verses in View

Genesis 1:1

God creates the heavens and the earth — this is the beginning of cosmic order.

Genesis 8:14

This verse describes the very moment that the judgment of Noah's Flood ends. The renewed earth becomes habitable again. It is the beginning of God reestablishing order in His Creation again. Immediately after, God commands Noah to leave the Ark so that he and his family can begin life anew, including carrying out the commission that was first given to Adam and Eve, when God told them to be fruitful and to multiply, and take dominion over the earth:

28 Then God blessed them, and God said to them, “Be fruitful and multiply; fill the earth and subdue it; have dominion over the fish of the sea, over the birds of the air, and over every living thing that moves on the earth.” Genesis 1:28

and

17 Bring forth with thee every living thing that is with thee, of all flesh, both of fowl, and of cattle, and of every creeping thing that creepeth upon the earth; that they may breed abundantly in the earth, and be fruitful, and multiply upon the earth. Genesis 8:17

2. The Prophetic Connection: Creation and Re‑Creation

The flood narrative is intentionally written as a reversal and restoration of Genesis 1.

Genesis 1:1 — Creation

God brings order out of watery chaos.

Dry land appears.

Life begins.

Genesis 8:14 — Re‑Creation

God again brings order out of watery chaos.

Dry land appears again.

Life begins again.

Ultimately, the prophetic significance of Genesis 8:14 is that it marks the moment that heralds a second Genesis 1:1, representing a fresh start for both humanity and the earth. This new beginning emerges from the profound truth that, despite God's creation of a perfect and good world—complete with humanity's gift of 'free will', enabling love to thrive—man, through Adam's rebellion, introduced darkness, chaos, and evil into existence. In response, God swiftly enacted His Plan of Redemption, symbolized by Adam and Eve being clothed in the skin of an innocent animal. This act serves as a powerful reminder that humanity has the choice to embrace this offer of Redemption by recognizing and accepting that God will one day provide Himself as the sacrifice to atone for humanity's sins. However, except for a remnant, man became so wicked that He said in Genesis 6:

5 And GOD saw that the wickedness of man was great in the earth, and that every imagination of the thoughts of his heart was only evil continually. Genesis 6:5

This culminated in the Flood of Noah, during which only eight people were saved: Noah, his wife, his three sons, and their wives.

In the aftermath of this event—an act of divine recreation amidst a fallen humanity that still bore the legacy of Adam—God was able to renew His plan of Redemption. Throughout the Bible, we see this recurring theme.

In Genesis 3:15, immediately after humanity's temptation and fall, God made a profound promise: the 'Seed of the Woman', who would be fully human, but would not inherit Adam's sinful nature, would come as the Second and Last Adam. This figure would bear the weight of Sin and Death, satisfying the Law and offering salvation to all who place their faith and trust in Him. Through this act, He would crush the head of the Serpent, Satan, whose sole aim is to 'steal, kill, and destroy' the life that God has bestowed upon mankind.

3. The Flood as “Un‑Creation” and “Re‑Creation”

The following table summarizes the key points that show how the flood story mirrors the creation story step by step:

Creation (Genesis 1) Flood (Genesis 6–8) Prophetic Meaning
Waters cover the deep Waters cover the earth God can reverse creation when corruption fills it
Spirit/wind moves over waters God sends a wind over the waters God uses the same creative power to restore
Dry land appears Dry land reappears (Gen 8:14) A new creation dawns
Blessing to be fruitful Noah receives the same blessing God renews His covenantal purpose
So, Genesis 8:14 is the hinge point where the “un‑creation” that started with the Fall of Man in the Garden of Eden ends and the “new creation” begins. The text gives a precise day — the 27th day of the second month — which is prophetically significant because it signals some key things theologically, in relation to God's timing:

1. A literal moment of transition

It is a real, historical turning point, where judgment ends and renewal begins.

2. A symbolic echo of Genesis 1

Just as creation had a structured sequence of days, the flood’s end is marked with a specific day — a new “Day 1” for humanity.

3. A pattern for future redemptive acts

God often works on appointed days (Passover, Sinai, the Resurrection). Genesis 8:14 becomes the first example of God marking a new era with a precise date. Additionally, it establishes the number 27 as being a special end-time number (see more information here) that is related to the end-times, and Final or Last things. It is the reason that there are 27 books that reveal the New Covenant, cut in the 'blood sacrifice' of Jesus Christ and it is becoming important again, as we approach the Rapture and His Second Coming.

4. Other Prophetic Themes:

Essentially, Genesis 1:1 shows God as Creator, while Genesis 8:14 shows God as the Re‑Creator.

God Restores What He Creates

Prophetically, this also reveals that:

God never abandons His creation - even when humanity collapses into violence and corruption.

God preserves a remnant - and begins again.

Judgment is never God’s final word - the flood ends with dry land, not destruction, God’s purpose is always restoration.

God’s redemptive plan moves in cycles of:

creation → corruption → judgment → renewal

This pattern becomes the backbone of the prophets (Isaiah, Ezekiel, Joel) and ultimately the New Testament.

The Earth “Becoming Dry”

In Genesis 1, dry land appears when God pushes back the waters of chaos. In Genesis 8:14, the earth becomes dry again — but this time, it is not just land appearing:

It is judgment receding

It is a new covenant era beginning

It is a prophetic picture of resurrection

The earth “coming up” from the waters prophetically mirrors events that would occur later in God's timeline of redemption:

Israel passing through the Red Sea

Israel crossing the Jordan

Baptism imagery in the New Testament

The new heavens and new earth in Revelation

Each time, dry land after water symbolizes:

It is a new creation emerging from death into life.

Prophetically, Genesis 8:14 is God's 'Great Reset', it is the moment that God re‑establishes the order He created in Genesis 1:1It prophetically declares that:

God restores what He creates

God brings life out of chaos

God marks new beginnings with precision

God’s covenantal purposes survive judgment

The story of creation is also the story of redemption

Essentially, Genesis 1:1 is the first creation; and Genesis 8:14 is the first re‑creation that will continue until, as it says in 2 Peter 3:7 (note again the mark of God's personal numbers 3 and 7, His sovereign seal upon this coming event), that the earth will judged in an uncreation event by fire, that will allow for a new Creation

7 But the heavens and the earth, which are now, by the same word are kept in store, reserved unto fire against the day of judgment and perdition of ungodly men. 2 Peter 3:7

Then there will be a new Creation event that creates a new Heaven and Earth, spoken of in Revelation 21, a chapter number that is also comprised of 3 x 7 = 21.

1 And I saw a new heaven and a new earth: for the first heaven and the first earth were passed away; and there was no more sea. Revelation 21:1

Ultimately, every act of God — from the Exodus to the Resurrection to the New Creation of Heaven and Earth — follows this same pattern of creation → corruption → judgment → renewal.

Exploring the Prophetic Significance of Leviticus 20:27 and Genesis 1:1

27 A man or a woman who is a medium, or who has familiar spirits, shall surely be put to death; they shall stone them with stones. Their blood shall be upon them.’ ” Leviticus 20:27

Contextually, Leviticus 20:27 relates to the "Holiness Code" (Leviticus 17-26), that was designed by God to distinguish Israel from neighboring nations that practiced sorcery and necromancy. It also provides a contrast of the character of God compared to wickedness of man, that was revealed in the Genesis 8 passage. However, following God's 'Great Reset' of the Flood, this passage follows on with the people of Israel that God has created in fulfilment of promises He gave to Abraham, who was 58 years old when Noah eventually died, and 17 years later (remembering 17s connection to new life that was established when Jesus resurrected on the 17th Nisan, 3 days after the Passover on the 14th Nisan) he was 75 years of age, when God called him for the purpose of creating a Holy Nation, a nation of Priests.

So God, who promised never to destroy all life on earth again, chose to introduce the Law of Holiness, which is a revelation of how one can live when filled with the Spirit of God that would later be fully revealed in the New Covenant, where God through Jesus and the Holy Spirit would write His Laws into the heart of Man, so that He could dwell with them.

1. The Two Verses in View

Genesis 1:1 introduces God as the sovereign Creator who brings order out of chaos.

Leviticus 20:27 commands the death of mediums and spiritists—people who seek knowledge or power from spiritual sources other than the one true God who created everything.

These two passages sit at opposite ends of the biblical narrative, yet they share a deep thematic thread: God, as the Creator of Heaven and Earth, is alone the rightful source of life, order, and revelation.

2. The Prophetic Connection: Order vs. Chaos

Genesis 1:1: God establishes cosmic order

Creation begins with God speaking order into existence. Everything that follows in Scripture depends on this foundational truth: God is the only legitimate source of truth, power, and life.

Leviticus 20:27: God protects that order

Mediums and spiritists represent a return to the chaos that existed before Genesis 1:1—they are people who are seeking knowledge from spiritual forces that oppose God’s order. In prophetic terms, this is not just a legal command; it is a cosmic boundary marker.

The Prophetic significance is that God’s people must not tap into the “anti‑creation” realm. Consulting spirits is portrayed as aligning with the forces of chaos, deception, and death. The penalty underscores the seriousness of preserving the created order that God established in Genesis 1:1.

3. The Larger Biblical Pattern

Across Scripture, this theme of maintaining the created order, so as not to descend back into chaos and darkness, is regularly repeated. While this played out in the first verse we looked at above, in the destruction of all life on earth, apart from a remnant, God's approach in Leviticus is more targeted, with specific people who are seeking to elevate Satan and his kingdom of darkness above the one true God and effectively invert God's creation, being given the death penalty. Again, it is judgement against forces that would come against God's Plan of Redemption - as the summary in the table below shows:

Theme Genesis 1:1 Leviticus 20:27 Prophetic Implication
Source of revelation God speaks creation God forbids rival spiritual voices True revelation comes only from God
Order vs. chaos God brings order Mediums invoke chaos God’s people must resist chaos powers
Life vs. death God creates life Spiritism leads to death Seeking life apart from God leads to death
Authority God is Creator God sets boundaries Rejecting God’s authority is rebellion

This pattern becomes especially important in the prophets (Isaiah, Jeremiah, Ezekiel), where idolatry and occult practices are portrayed as un‑creation, a reversal of Genesis 1.

4. Other Prophetic Themes

Many biblical scholars note that the Torah often uses legal commands to echo creation themes. In this case:

Genesis 1:1 establishes who God is.

Leviticus 20:27 establishes who God’s people must not be.

Prophetically, the message is to remain aligned with the Creator; and Israel must reject all spiritual systems that oppose the Creator’s order. This becomes a major prophetic theme, affirming that:

• Israel’s faithfulness preserves creation order.

Israel’s unfaithfulness unleashes chaos (exile, judgment, spiritual darkness).

All of this underscores the need for Revelation. Genesis 1 begins with God speaking, while Leviticus 20:27 forbids seeking speech from other spiritual beings. This then frames a prophetic truth in that the entire biblical story is a contest over whose voice humanity will follow - God’s voice creates, but other voices deceive, distort, and destroy - just as Satan's voice deceived Eve and led to Adam's fall.

This message is not only delivered by the Old Testament Prophets, but appears in the New Testament, where Christ is called the Word—the ultimate revelation of the Creator— and believers are warned to test all teachings against God's revealed word, cautioning that false prophets and teachers often appear righteous ("sheep's clothing") but distort the truth for personal gain, leading people away from the gospel. Key passages include Matthew 7:15-20 (fruit inspection), 2 Peter 2:1-3 (destructive heresies), and 1 John 4:1 (testing spirits).

So, the prophetic significance of Leviticus 20:27 is that a protective boundary that preserves the order God established in Genesis 1:1 is required. It prophetically warns that:

Seeking revelation apart from the Creator leads back into chaos.

God’s people must remain aligned with the Creator’s voice.

The spiritual world is real, but not neutral.

Creation and covenant are inseparable.

In short: Genesis 1:1 declares God’s sovereignty; and Leviticus 20:27 defends it.

Exploring the Prophetic Significance of 2 Samuel 1:18 and Genesis 1:1

18 and he told them to teach the children of Judah the Song of the Bow; indeed it is written in the Book of Jasher: 2 Samuel 1:18

Contextually 2 Samuel 1:18 is a hinge verse because it immediately follows David being told that King Saul (God's first anointed King) and his son Jonathan had been killed by an Amalekite, who in David's words, was not afraid to put forward his hand and kill the LORD's anointed, even though David, who Saul was relentlessly trying to kill, would never have done this. Then in this verse, after having the Amalekite executed as punishment for killing the LORD's anointed and lamenting over Saul (who had become his arch enemy), David instructs his men to teach the children of Judah the 'Song of the Bow' that is also said to be written in the book of Jasher.

While 2 Samuel 1:18 looks like a small narrative detail, it literally sits at the transition between King Saul and when David becomes King. In the narrative of the Bible this is huge because it ushers in the Davidic Royal Order, of which God Himself, in Jesus, will eventually reign over His Creation. So, when you place it beside Genesis 1:1, it opens a surprisingly deep prophetic pattern about creation, kingship, chaos, and the preservation of God’s order and Redemptive Plan through covenantal instruction, as the following will show.

1. The Verses in View

Genesis 1:1

God creates the heavens and the earth — the beginning of divine order, kingship, and purpose.

2 Samuel 1:18

David commands that the “Song of the Bow” be taught to the children of Judah; it is written in the Book of Jasher (note that this is not the extant book of Jasher that we have today, as the Song of the Bow does not appear in it). This comes immediately after:

Saul, the LORD’s anointed king, is killed

An Amalekite claims to have killed him

David executes the Amalekite for daring to strike God’s anointed

David laments Saul and Jonathan

Then David commands the teaching of a song — a memorial, a warning, and a prophetic declaration

This is not random. It is a creation moment in Israel’s monarchy.

2. The Prophetic Connection: Creation Order and Royal Order

Genesis 1:1 establishes God as King

Creation is not just about matter coming into existence. It is about God establishing His rule over chaos.

2 Samuel 1:18 establishes David’s kingship

This moment is the transition from Saul’s failed kingship to David’s God‑chosen kingship.

Prophetically, the significance is that while Genesis 1:1 is the creation of cosmic order, 2 Samuel 1:18 is the creation of Israel’s enduring Royal Order - that Jesus will one day reign from, as King of KingsBoth moments mark the beginning of a new divine administration.

3. The Amalekite as a Symbol of Anti‑Creation Chaos

In Scripture, Amalek consistently represents:

rebellion against God

spiritual opposition

chaos and disorder

the “anti‑creation” force that opposes God’s purposes

This is why God declares perpetual war against Amalek in Exodus 17:

4 And the LORD said unto Moses, Write this for a memorial in a book, and rehearse it in the ears of Joshua: for I will utterly put out -- the remembrance of Amalek from under heaven15 And Moses built an altar, and called the name of it Jehovah-nissi: 16 For he said, Because the LORD hath sworn that the LORD will have war with Amalek from generation to generation. Exodus 17:14-16

So, when an Amalekite kills Saul — or even claims to — it is symbolically:

chaos striking at God’s appointed order

the forces of anti‑creation attempting to destroy God’s kingdom plan

a violation of the sacred boundary God established

David’s execution of the Amalekite is not personal vengeance. It is a restoration of divine order, just as God restores order in Genesis 1:1.

4. Other Prophetic Themes

The “Song of the Bow” matters because David’s command to teach this song is not sentimental, it is prophetic. The “Song of the Bow” functions as:

• A national memory anchor

Just as Genesis 1 anchors Israel’s worldview, this song anchors Israel’s understanding of kingship.

• A covenantal instruction

David is shaping the identity of Judah — the tribe from which the Messiah will come.

• A declaration of God’s sovereignty over kingship

The song honors Saul as God’s anointed, even though Saul persecuted David. This teaches Judah:

• Kingship is sacred

God alone appoints and removes kings

No human hand may violate God’s order

This is a direct echo of Genesis 1:1, where God alone establishes order.

• A prophetic preparation for David’s reign

Before David takes the throne, he teaches Judah how to think about kingship. He is forming a creation of royal culture, just as Genesis 1 forms a creation of cosmic culture and order.

The bow symbolizes warfare; strength; covenant (as in the rainbow of Genesis 9); divine protectionthe transition of power from Saul to David. Jonathan’s bow was a symbol of his covenant with David and Saul’s bow symbolized his military authority. So, by naming the song “The Song of the Bow,” David:

• honors Jonathan

• honors Saul’s kingship

• acknowledges God’s sovereignty

• signals the transfer of royal authority

• establishes a prophetic symbol for Judah’s future

This is a creation moment for David’s kingdom.

The Book of Jasher (“Book of the Upright”) is a record of heroic acts and covenantal faithfulness. By placing the Song of the Bow in this book, Scripture signals:

this moment is foundational

this is not merely history; it is identity

this is a creation text for the Davidic kingdom

this is a prophetic anchor for future generations

Just as Genesis 1:1 is the foundation of the world, 2 Samuel 1:18 becomes a foundation of the Davidic monarchy.

Prophetically, while Genesis 1:1 establishes God’s cosmic order, 2 Samuel 1:18 establishes God’s royal orderBoth passages mark:

a new beginning

a divine act of creation

the establishment of God’s rule

the defeat of chaos

the formation of identity through instruction

the preparation for God’s future purposes

In Genesis 1, God creates the world. In 2 Samuel 1, God creates the Davidic kingdom — the line that will lead to the Messiah. The Song of the Bow becomes:

a prophetic bridge between Saul and David

a declaration that God’s purposes cannot be thwarted

a cultural creation that shapes Judah’s identity

a symbol of covenant loyalty

a reminder that God’s anointed must never be touched

a prophetic pointer to the ultimate Anointed One

So, the prophetic significance of 2 Samuel 1:18 is that Genesis 1:1 is the creation of the world, and 2 Samuel 1:18 is the creation of the messianic line’s royal culture and ultimately this is the central message of the Bible that identifies Jesus as the promised heir to the Davidic Kingdom, prophesying that he will reign on David's throne forever. Firstly, David's Kingdom is to be an eternal one:

16 And thine house and thy kingdom shall be established forever before thee: thy throne shall be established forever. 2 Samuel 7:16

The Jesus the promised Son at the center of God's Plan of Redemption is revealed as the "Son of David" in Mathew 1:1, the one who will eventually rule and reign upon David's Throne:

6 For unto us a child is born, unto us a son is given: and the government shall be upon his shoulder: and his name shall be called Wonderful, Counselor, The mighty God, The everlasting Father, The Prince of Peace. 7 Of the increase of his government and peace there shall be no end, upon the throne of David, and upon his kingdom, to order -- it, and to establish it with judgment and with justice from henceforth even forever. The zeal of the LORD of hosts will perform this. Isaiah 9:6-7

And

32 He shall be great, and shall be called the Son of the Highest: and the Lord God shall give unto him the throne of his father David33And he shall reign over the house of Jacob forever; and of his kingdom there shall be no end. Luke 1:32-33

Importantly, He is understood to be the Messiah with terms such as the "righteous Branch" being attributed to Him and even in Jeremiah His rule and reign is seen to be a righteous one, as it will bring judgment and justice to the whole earth:

5 Behold, the days come, saith the LORD, that I will raise unto David a righteous Branch, and a King shall reign and prosper, and shall execute judgment and justice in the earth. Jeremiah 23:5

Exploring the Prophetic Significance of 1 Kings 8:15 and Genesis 1:1

15 And he said: “Blessed be the LORD God of Israel, who spoke with His mouth to my father David, and with His hand has fulfilled it, saying, 1 Kings 8:15

Here we see the heart of God, for 1 Kings 8:15 comes after Solomon has completed the building of the Temple, that he described as a house and a place for God to dwell in forever, with His people - the King requires a Kingdom. After establishing the Davidic Kingdom in the passage in 2 Samuel, this passage then takes us to the very purpose of God establishing the Kingdom, it is so He will have a place to dwell with His people. It is to be a place where His Love will forever flow towards those who love and trust Him and choose to make Him Lord and King over their lives.

Contextually, the Priests had come out of the Holy Place and the Cloud of God's presence had filled the house with the Glory of the LORD. Immediately following this, Solomon blessed the whole assembly of Israel who were standing there. He started with the words in this significant verse 1 kings 8:15 that say, "Blessed be the LORD God of Israel, who spoke with His mouth to my father David, and with His hand has fulfilled it", clearly acknowledging God's faithfulness to His prophetic promises.

1 Kings 8:15 is a beautiful passage to explore in light of Genesis 1:1 because when you place these two verses side by side, a profound prophetic pattern emerges. The God who creates by His Word in Genesis 1:1 is the same God who fulfills His covenant promises - by His Word in 1 Kings 8:15.

1. The Verses in View

Genesis 1:1

God creates the heavens and the earth — the beginning of divine order, purpose, and presence.

1 Kings 8:15

Solomon, standing before the newly completed Temple filled with God’s glory, declares:

Blessed be the LORD God of Israel, who spoke with His mouth to my father David, and with His hand has fulfilled it.”

This moment comes at the climax of:

the building of the Temple

the descent of the divine cloud

the filling of the house with God’s glory

the priests being unable to stand because of the weight of His presence

Solomon’s words are not ceremonial. They are prophetic, theological, and cosmic.

2. The Prophetic Connection: Creation and Fulfillment

Genesis 1:1 — God speaks creation into existence

God’s mouth brings forth the world. His hand shapes order out of chaos.

1 Kings 8:15 — God speaks covenant into existence

God’s mouth promises David a son who will build a house for His name. His hand fulfills that promise through Solomon.

The prophetic connection is that while Genesis 1:1 reveals God as Creator. 1 Kings 8:15 reveals God as Covenant‑Keeper. Both are acts of divine sovereignty. Both are acts of divine faithfulness. Both reveal God’s character through His Word and His Works.

3. The Temple as a New Creation

The Bible consistently portrays the Temple as a microcosm of creation — a new Eden, a restored order, a dwelling place for God among His people.

The following Table shows some of the parallels:

Creation (Genesis 1) Temple (1 Kings 8) Prophetic Meaning
God creates a world for His presence Solomon builds a house for God’s presence God desires to dwell with humanity
God speaks and it is so God speaks to David and fulfills it God’s word is creative and effective
God brings order to chaos God establishes ordered worship God restores order through covenant
God rests on the seventh day God’s glory rests in the Temple The Temple is a new Sabbath space

So, when Solomon says God “spoke with His mouth” and “fulfilled with His hand,” he is echoing the creation pattern:

God speaks → reality forms

God wills → order emerges

God promises → fulfillment arrives

The Temple is a new creation moment.

4. Other Prophetic Themes

Before creation, Genesis describes the earth as:

formless

void

covered in darkness

with the Spirit of God hovering over the waters

The Cloud of Glory in 1 Kings 8:15 is a return to Genesis 1. It is the same divine presence:

hovering

filling

transforming

sanctifying

Just as God’s presence transforms chaos into creation, His presence transforms a building into a holy dwelling placeThis is why the priests cannot stand — the same creative power that formed the universe is now filling the Temple.

God’s Word to David was also a Creative Act, so in 1 Kings 8:15 Solomon emphasizes two things:

1. God spoke

This is not casual speech. It is creative, covenantal, performative speech — the same kind of speech that said, “Let there be light.”

2. God fulfilled

His hand brought into reality what His mouth declared.

This is the Genesis pattern God’s word is never separate from God’s action. In creation, God speaks the world into being. In kingship, God speaks the Davidic covenant into being. 1 Kings 8:15 is Solomon’s recognition that:

the Temple

the Davidic throne

the covenant

the kingdom

the presence of God

are all acts of new creation.

So, the prophetic significance of 1 Kings 8:15 is that God is dwelling with His People.

Genesis 1:1 begins the story of God creating a world where He can dwell with humanity. 1 Kings 8:15 marks the moment God actually dwells among His people in a permanent house. This is part of a prophetic arc that will play out right through, until the new heaven and earth are created:

1. Creation — God makes a world for His presence

2.Covenant — God chooses a people for His presence

3. Temple — God establishes a place for His presence

4. Messiah — God becomes present in human flesh

5. Church — God dwells in His people

6. New Creation — God dwells with humanity forever

1 Kings 8:15 is another hinge point in this story — a fulfillment of creation’s purpose. Genesis 1:1 reveals God as the One who creates by His word, while 1 Kings 8:15 reveals God as the One who fulfills His wordBoth passages show:

God’s sovereignty

God’s faithfulness

God’s creative power

God’s desire to dwell with humanity

God’s ability to bring order out of chaos

God’s commitment to His covenant promises

See the Table below, for the Key Parallels:

Genesis 1 1 Kings 8
God creates the world God creates the Temple - the center of His redemptive plan that involves the altar of atonement and the Holy of Holies that houses the Mercy Seat, upon which the blood of His sacrifice is placed and above which God's Glory dwells, making this His Throne room upon earth.
God speaks light into darkness God speaks kingship and covenant into fulfillment
God forms a place for humanity God forms a place for Himself among humanity

Essentially, Genesis 1:1 is the creation of the world and1 Kings 8:15 follows the creation of the kingdom in 2 Samuel 1:18 with the establishment of the Kingdom, because now God is now dwelling with His people, who through the 'Holiness Code' of Leviticus, now know how they can approach God without their Sin being an obstacle.

Importantly, all these scripture passages reveal the same God — powerful, faithful, holy and present.

Exploring the Prophetic Significance of Micah 6:9 and Genesis 1:1

9 The LORD’s voice cries to the city— Wisdom shall see Your name: “Hear the rod! Who has appointed it? Micah 6:9

Following the pattern established and discussed before: creation → corruption → judgment → renewal, we see here God pouring His heart out unto His people who are again in a cycle of Sin (corruption) and Judgement. Contextually, Micah 6:9 is a verse that literally follows after God's announcement of the coming Messiah in chapter 5 that also included a pronouncement of judgement on Israel's enemies:

1 Marshal your troops now, city of troops, for a siege is laid against us. They will strike Israel’s ruler on the cheek with a rod. 2 “But you, Bethlehem Ephrathah, though you are small among the clans of Judah, out of you will come for me one who will be ruler over Israel, whose origins are from of old, from ancient times.” Micah 5:1-2

So, as described in 1 Kings 8:15ff, God had been dwelling in the Temple with His people, and had even announced details of His long-awaited Messiah, however in chapter 6 of Micah, due to the people's sin, we see Him turn back to His people in Israel and plead with them. You can hear the cry of His heart when He says in verse 3 and 4:

3O My people, what have I done to you? And how have I wearied you? Testify against Me. 4 For I brought you up from the land of Egypt, I redeemed you from the house of bondage; And I sent before you Moses, Aaron, and Miriam. Micah 6:3-4

Literally with all God had done for Israel He simply desired that they would want to live in right relationship with Him and to do justly, to love mercy, and to walk humbly with Him, as their God - remembering that this is the same God that in Genesis, before the Fall desired to walk with man in the cool of the evening.

Following this heart-felt plea, we come to the verse Micah 6:9 that is foundational to how the LORD needs to deal with the nation that He chose and created through Abraham, that has been lost to Sin. As it appears in the shadow of the predicted Messiah, in the previous chapter, it seems to be a hinge verse that is predictive of the judgment that is coming from Assyria, when it states:

"The LORD’s voice cries to the city— Wisdom shall see Your name: “Hear the rod! Who has appointed it?" Micah 6:9.

Notably, God always gives warning before judgement comes, and clearly the immediate threat in Micah's day around the late 8th century BC (most likely between 735 and 710 BC), was Assyria. He ministered during the reigns of Jotham, Ahaz, and Hezekiah, kings of Judah, which places him squarely in the second half of the 700s BC. Therefore, his warning came in the shadow of the northern kingdom's destruction by Assyria, under the following Kings, who had exiled the people:

• Tiglath‑Pileser III — began the first major deportations (734–732 BCE).

• Shalmaneser V — besieged Samaria (725–722 BCE).

• Sargon II — completed the conquest and deportation when Samaria fell in 722 BCE.

So, Judah was Micah's primary audience, with the fate of Israel serving as a warning to them. Sennacherib who came later (705–681 BCE) invaded Judah and was most likely the Rod that God was referring to through Micah. Historically, that threat reached its peak in 701 BC, when Sennacherib destroyed many fortified cities, such as Lachish, yet Jerusalem was spared because:

• Hezekiah humbled himself (2 Chron 32:26).

The people turned back to God.

God intervened to stop Sennacherib’s final assault.

This all aligns with Micah’s role as a prophet calling Judah to repentance. His warnings were not ignored—at least not in that generation. Later the people of Judah would eventually face their own destruction as well in the coming exile to Babylon that would as Ezekiel showed, even involve the Glory of God leaving the Temple, which was a reversal of the previous verse in 1 Kings 8:15. This would ultimately be the most significant exile in the nations' history, prior to the Diaspora following the events of AD 70, that involved the Roman Emperor Titus' destruction of Jerusalem and the Temple.

However, in context of the nation's Sin in Micah's day, the warning of Micah 6:9 served its purpose, as it awakened the people to the possible reversal of the blessings that had been promised to the nation and that had originally been endowed on all people as part of God's Creation, as declared in Genesis 1.  In later verses, this was seen to be all for the purpose of God dwelling with the people, created in His image.

In this way, Micah 6:9 is one of the most profound “creation‑echo” judgment verses in the prophets. When you place it beside Genesis 1:1, it becomes a hinge between creation, covenant, judgment, and new creation, that are all stages in God's Plan of Redemption.

1. The Verses in View

Genesis 1:1

God creates the heavens and the earth — establishing order, goodness, blessing, and His intention to dwell with humanity.

Micah 6:9

“The LORD’s voice cries to the city— Wisdom shall see Your name: ‘Hear the rod! Who has appointed it?’” This comes after:

the prophecy of the coming Messiah (Micah 5)

God’s indictment of Israel’s sin (Micah 6:1–8)

God’s plea to His people to remember His redemption

God’s call for justice, mercy, and humility

Micah 6:9 is the turning point where God announces that judgment is coming — but not without warning, not without purpose, and not without hope.

2. The Prophetic Connection: Creation Order and Covenant Order

Genesis 1:1 — God establishes order

Creation is God’s act of bringing:

light out of darkness

order out of chaos

blessing out of emptiness

a dwelling place for Himself with humanity

Micah 6 — Israel has undone that order

Israel’s sin has:

turned light back into darkness

turned order back into chaos

turned blessing into corruption

turned God’s dwelling place into a place He must leave

Micah 6:9 is the moment God says: “The creation order I established is being violated — and I must act.”

So, the prophetic connection with Genesis 1:1 is that while God revealed in creation that He had brought order out of chaos, Micah 6:9 reveals that the God's people have reversed this and brought darkness and corruption, so judgement is coming. This is why the verse is so foundational.

3. “The LORD’s Voice Cries to the City” — A Return to Genesis 1

In Genesis 1, God’s voice creates.

In Micah 6:9, God’s voice warns.

Both are acts of divine sovereignty, but here’s the prophetic twist:

In Genesis, God speaks to bring the world into order.

In Micah, God speaks because His people have fallen out of order.

The same voice that said “Let there be light” now cries out because His people have chosen darkness.

This is why Micah 6:9 feels like a creation‑level moment — it is God addressing a collapse of the very order He established in Genesis 1.

4. Other Prophetic Themes“Hear the Rod!” — Judgment as a Form of Re‑Creation

The “rod” in Micah 6:9 is not random punishment. It is discipline with a redemptive purposeAs a judgment it is a form of Re‑CreationIn Scripture, God’s judgment often functions as:

 a reversal of creation

 a cleansing of corruption

 a preparation for renewal

Think of:

 the flood (un‑creation → re‑creation)

 the exile (un‑kingdom → re‑kingdom)

 the cross (death → resurrection)

Micah 6:9 is announcing that same pattern - Judgment is coming — not to destroy Israel, but to recreate her. This is why the Babylonian exile becomes the central historical judgment of the Old Testament. This question "Who has appointed it? is rhetorical, for it is by God's sovereign hand, just as:

God appointed the boundaries of creation - (note: this is very important - we will see it as a mathematical construct later.)

God appointed the covenant with Abraham

 God appointed David as king

God appointed the Temple as His dwelling place

He now appoints the rod of discipline.

This is not chaos. This is not Babylon’s power. This is not geopolitical accident, it is God acting as Creator again — tearing down what is corrupted, so He can rebuild what is holy. It is a reversal of 1 Kings 8 that was centered on the Temple:

In 1 Kings 8, the glory of God fills the Temple.

In Ezekiel 10–11, the glory of God leaves the Temple.

In Micah 6:9, God warns that this departure is coming.

This is a reverse‑creation moment:

God formed a dwelling place (Temple)

 Israel corrupted it

 God withdraws His presence

 Judgment follows

A new creation will come through the Messiah (Micah 5)

Micah 6:9 stands at the threshold of this entire sequence.

So, the Prophetic Significance of Micah 6:9 is that while Genesis 1:1 reveals God as the One who creates order by His voice, Micah 6:9 reveals God as the One who restores order by His voice; and both passages show:

 God’s sovereignty

 God’s faithfulness

God’s desire to dwell with His people

God’s intolerance of chaos and corruption

 God’s commitment to re‑creation

God’s mercy in warning before judgment

See the Table below, for some Key Parallels:

Genesis 1 Micah 6
God speaks to create the world God speaks to recreate His people.
God forms a place for humanity. God warns that He must remove His presence because humanity has rejected Him.
God brings order out of chaos. God announces that He will use the rod to restore that order.

Essentially, Genesis 1:1 is the creation of the world and Micah 6:9 is the warning of re‑creation through judgment. And both reveal the same God — holy, faithful, patient, and committed to dwelling with His people.

Exploring the Prophetic Significance of Nahum 2:10 and Genesis 1:1

10 She is empty, desolate, and waste! the heart melts, and the knees shake; much pain is in every side,
and all their faces are drained of color. Nahum 2:10

Following the warning of Micah 6:9 and Judah's revival under King Hezekiah, who had humbled himself before God, there sadly was another reversal when he died, and his son Manasseh took the throne around 687 BC. Ultimately, God raised up King Josiah, who around 628 BC began a massive campaign to purge Judah and Jerusalem of idols, Asherah poles, and high places. He even extended this reform into the territories of the former Northern Kingdom. Then around 622 BC, in his 18th year, at age 26, the revival reached its peak. While repairing the Temple, the High Priest Hilkiah discovered the Book of the Law. Its reading led to a national covenant renewal and the greatest Passover celebration since the time of the Judges.

So, during this time God chose to remind His people of His sovereignty and power through Nahum, whose ministry occurred approximately between 663 BC and 612 BC. As he foretells of Nineveh's destruction that occurred in 612 BC, this means that his prophetic word to the people occurred before this time. For nearly a century, the Assyrian Empire, that had carried away most of the people of the northern Kingdom, had brutally oppressed Judah. Therefore, Nahum’s message—predicting the total collapse of the "invincible" Nineveh—served as a "prophetic witness" to the people. When Nineveh actually fell in 612 BC, it provided undeniable proof that God was in control of world events, which likely strengthened the people's faith in the laws Josiah was re-establishing.

As such, the context of Nahum 2:10 appears to be connected both with the themes of God's sovereignty and His establishment of a created order to enable Him to dwell with those made in His image. It is talking about Nineveh, the Assyrian enemy that Satan had stirred up against Israel, God's chosen people Again, it is a pivotal verse because in the midst of chapter 2, where God is announcing that He is going to restore the excellence of Jacob, like the excellence of Israel, He begins to pronounce a judgement upon Nineveh. For while the enemies of God's people are allowed by God to come upon His people, as a judgement (the "rod") for Israel's disobedience, they always go too far. In this respect, the Assyrians had the audacity to carry away God's children (who had been chosen to bring the Messiah / Christ and Saviour into the world to save all of humanity) into a foreign land; and historically plant many of its own people there, creating the Samaritans, that were no longer strictly descendants of Abraham in the promised Land. Therefore God, who is a God of Justice for all people, for all nations of the earth, who He loves and desires to dwell with, needs to bring judgement against them for what they have done.

In this pivotal verse, in the midst of judgement against Nineveh, God harkens back to Creation by declaring in Nahum 2:10:

10 She is empty, desolate, and waste! the heart melts, and the knees shake; much pain is in every side,
and all their faces are drained of color. Nahum 2:10

Here the opening words of this verse seem to gain potency by seeing them in the context of the sovereign God of Creation, who in establishing order and righteousness out of chaos and disorder, first established it in Creation; when He spoke the Light into being, to push away the darkness and began to turn the desolate and waste places into a Garden, where He could dwell with Man.

1. The Verses in View

Genesis 1:1

God creates the heavens and the earth — establishing order, fullness, blessing, and a world designed for His presence.

Nahum 2:10

Speaking of Nineveh, the capital of Assyria — the empire that brutalized Israel — God declares:

“She is empty, desolate, and waste! The heart melts, and the knees shake; Much pain is in every side, And all their faces are drained of color.”

This verse sits at the center of God’s judgment on Nineveh, the very empire that:

 destroyed the northern kingdom

 scattered the ten tribes

planted foreign peoples in the land (creating the Samaritans)

 mocked the God of Israel

attempted to erase the covenant people through assimilation

Nahum 2:10 is God’s answer to that.

2. The Prophetic Connection: Creation Order vs. Anti‑Creation Chaos

Genesis 1:1 — God brings order out of chaos

The earth begins:

 formless

 void

 dark

 empty

And God speaks light, life, and order into existence.

Nahum 2:10 — God returns His enemies to chaos

Nineveh becomes:

 empty

 desolate

 waste

These three words deliberately echo the language of Genesis 1:2tohu va‑bohu — “formless and void.”

Nahum is intentionally describing Nineveh’s fall as a reverse‑creationThe prophetic message is unmistakable: Any nation that sets itself against God’s redemptive plan will be returned to the chaos from which God rescued creation.

3. Nineveh as the Anti‑Creation Force

Assyria was not just another empire. It was the anti‑creation empire:

It tore apart the covenant people

It scattered the tribes God had gathered

It attempted to erase the lineage through which Messiah would come

It filled the land with violence, terror, and idolatry

It opposed the very purpose of creation — God dwelling with His people

In Genesis 1, God pushes back the waters of chaos. In Nahum 2, God pushes back the empire of chaos.

Nineveh becomes a symbol of everything that opposes God’s order.

4. Other Prophetic Themes

In Genesis 1:

 God fills the earth

 God beautifies the earth

 God orders the earth

 God blesses the earth

 God dwells with humanity

In Nahum 2:10, God does the opposite to Nineveh, it is a direct reversal of Eden:

• He empties

 He desolates

 He devastates

 He removes blessing

 He withdraws His presence

This is not arbitrary wrath; it is cosmic justiceThe empire that tried to unmake God’s people is itself unmade. It is judgement that comes with an Emotional Collapse -“Hearts Melt, Knees Shake”. This language appears in Scripture when:

 God’s presence overwhelms (Joshua 2:11)

 judgment falls (Isaiah 13:7–8)

 creation collapses (Ezekiel 7:17)

It signals that Nineveh is experiencing:

 the terror of divine judgment

 the collapse of human pride

the unraveling of their false power

the exposure of their spiritual emptiness

This is the emotional counterpart to the physical “un‑creation.” Importantly though, God’s judgment on Nineveh is not merely historical. It is covenantal and messianicAssyria tried to destroy the people through whom Messiah would come, so God’s response is not optional — it is necessary for His redemptive plan. Assyria went beyond God’s disciplinary purpose, when He had used them to discipline Israel, but Assyria used the opportunity to destroy, humiliate, and assimilate; and God always judges nations that exceed His boundaries.

God must also restore the land for His people, which is what we see in Nahum 2:2 where it says: “The LORD will restore the excellence of Jacob.” This is a creation theme — God restoring what chaos has damaged.

Additionally, God must preserve the lineage of Christ. If Assyria had succeeded, the promise of Genesis 3:15 and Micah 5 would fail. Therefore, God’s judgment on Nineveh is part of His creation‑to‑Messiah storyline - it is the preservation of the Messianic Seed Line from Adam to Christ.

So, the Prophetic Significance of Nahum 2:10 is that while Genesis 1:1 reveals God as the One who brings order out of chaos, Nahum 2:10 reveals God as the One who returns His enemies to chaos when they oppose His purposes. Both passages show:

 God’s sovereignty over nations

God’s commitment to His covenant people

God’s intolerance of violence and injustice

God’s protection of the messianic line

God’s power to reverse creation for judgment

God’s determination to restore creation for redemption

Genesis 1 Nahum 2
God forms a world for His presence. God removes His presence from a world of violence.
God fills the earth with life. God empties Nineveh of its pride and power.
God pushes back chaos. God unleashes chaos on those who oppose His purposes.

So, Genesis 1:1 is the creation of order, and Nahum 2:10 is the judgment of anti‑order. Both reveal the same God — holy, sovereign, faithful, and committed to dwelling with His people.

THE PROPHETIC ARC OF SCRIPTURE

To bring this all together, we need to "zoom out” and show how all the passages fit into a single prophetic arc that begins in Genesis 1:1 and runs straight through the entire biblical story, tracing God’s entire redemptive plan that is structured around His desire to dwell with humanity in an ordered creation.

All 7 verses that have the numerical value 2701 are a hinge in that story that is woven with the themes of creation, covenant, judgment, restoration, Messiah, and new creation.

Below is a summary of this prophetic arc that appears throughout the Bible - here the focus is not on the 7 verses - rather the bigger picture, so the verses will not all appear here, rather the following is a brief summary of the overarching narrative that they are ultimately a part of:

1. CREATION — God makes a world for His presence

Genesis 1:1 God brings order out of chaos, light out of darkness, fullness out of emptiness. Creation is not just material — it is relational and covenantal. God forms a world where He can dwell with humanity.

Prophetic theme: God’s voice creates order, beauty, and purpose.

2. COVENANT — God chooses a people for His presence

Genesis 12, Exodus 19, Micah 6:3–4 God calls Abraham, rescues Israel from Egypt, and forms a covenant people. He desires justice, mercy, humility — a people who reflect His character.

Micah 6:9 becomes the warning: When God’s people reject His order, He must act to restore it.

Prophetic theme: God’s covenant is the continuation of creation — forming a people who bear His image.

3. TEMPLE — God establishes a place for His presence

1 Kings 8:10–15 The cloud of glory fills the Temple. Solomon declares that the God who spoke to David has now fulfilled His promise.

This is a new creation moment:

God dwells with His people

order is restored

blessing flows outward

Prophetic theme: The Temple is Eden restored — God dwelling among His people again.

4. JUDGMENT — God reverses creation when His order is violated

This is where the prophetic verses emphasize that anything that has brought darkness into God's perfect creation will be returned to the Chaos that existed in the beginning before God began to fashion and form it into a habitable place, where He could dwell with His image bearers:

Micah 6:9

“The LORD’s voice cries to the city… Hear the rod!” God warns before judgment. The rod is not destruction for its own sake — it is re‑creation through discipline.

Nahum 2:10

“She is empty, desolate, and waste.” This is deliberate Genesis 1:2 languagetohu va‑bohu. Nineveh, the anti‑creation empire, is returned to chaos.

Ezekiel 10–11

The glory departs the Temple — a reversal of 1 Kings 8.

Prophetic theme: When nations or God’s people oppose His order, He withdraws His presence and allows chaos to return — not to end the story, but to prepare for renewal.

5. MESSIAH — God becomes present in human flesh

Micah 5 (the prophecy just before Micah 6) The ruler from Bethlehem will shepherd God’s people in the strength of the LORD.

Jesus is:

the true Temple

the true Davidic King

the true Image of God

the true Light of the world

the beginning of the New Creation

Prophetic theme: In Christ, God’s presence returns — not to a building, but to humanity itself.

6. CHURCH — God dwells in His people

Pentecost is a new Genesis 1 moment:

wind

fire

Spirit

speech

creation of a new humanity

The Church becomes:

the new Temple

the new dwelling place of God

the restored image-bearing community

Prophetic theme: God’s presence now fills His people the way His glory once filled the Temple.

7. NEW CREATION — God dwells with humanity forever

Revelation 21–22 The story ends where it began — but greater:

a new heaven and new earth

no more chaos

no more darkness

no more exile

God dwelling with humanity forever

This is the fulfillment of Genesis 1:1, the Temple, the covenant, the prophets, and the Messiah.

Prophetic theme: Creation’s purpose is finally realized — God and humanity together in perfect order and joy.

HOW THE 7 VERSES FIT INTO THE ARC

Now we can consider how the 7 specific verses, all with the value of 2701 (37 x 73) fit into this prophetic arc of the bible.

Below is a table summarizing the key prophetic significance of each of these verses we've explored:

Verse Stage of the Arc Prophetic Significance
Genesis 1:1 Creation God establishes order, purpose, and a world for His presence
Genesis 8:14 Re‑Creation - after lawlessness destroyed God's order God restores creation after judgment; a new beginning
Leviticus 20:27 Laws - to protect created order of Holiness and provide a boundary Protection of creation order from spiritual corruption
2 Samuel 1:18 Covenant → Kingship God preserves His anointed line that leads to Jesus; creation order moves into royal order
1 Kings 8:15 Temple - God's Presence dwells with His people God fulfills His word; His presence fills the house — Eden restored
Micah 6:9 Warning - God's call for people to return to Him God’s voice calls His people back to creation order; judgment is coming
Nahum 2:10 Judgment - against God's enemies, so redemption through His people can occur Anti‑creation forces are returned to chaos; God defends His redemptive plan

THE BEAUTY OF THE WHOLE STORY

What we’ve been tracing here in these 7 verses, that are all numerically equivalent to Genesis 1:1, is the Bible’s central heartbeat:

The God who created the world in Genesis 1 is restoring the world through judgment, covenant, Messiah, and new creation so that He may dwell with humanity forever.

Every one of the 7 verses was a hinge in that story. Every prophet we examined was echoing Genesis 1. Every judgment was a step toward renewal. Every promise was a step toward the Messiah. Every restoration was a step toward the New Creation.

What’s remarkable is that the seven verses all sit at hinge points in the biblical story:

1. Genesis 1:1 — The original creation order

2. Genesis 8:14 — Re‑creation after the flood

3. Leviticus 20:27 — Protection of creation order from spiritual corruption

4. 2 Samuel 1:18 — Establishment of Davidic kingship

5. 1 Kings 8:15 — Fulfillment of God’s promise and the filling of the Temple

6. Micah 6:9 — Warning before judgment; call back to covenant order

7. Nahum 2:10 — Judgment on God's enemies and anti‑creation forces

In a micro-perspective, they trace the entire prophetic arc that starts with Genesis 1:1 and ultimately end with God creating a new Heaven and Earth in another chapter that is numerically 3 x 7 in Revelation 21:1

1 Now I saw a new heaven and a new earth, for the first heaven and the first earth had passed away. Also there was no more sea. Revelation 21:1

In a strangely coherent fashion, this connection then creates an 8th related verse, both thematically and numerically (as it carries the value of 6606 or three 6s which as will be seen later is important), that is a completely new beginning. It is the 8th day of Creation hinted at in the Feasts of the LORD, being described in Hebrew as Shemini Atzeret -  שמיני עצרת - (the 8th day - שמיני Assembly or Gathering עצרת ) - Leviticus 23:36

36 For seven days you shall offer an offering made by fire to the LORD. On the eighth day you shall have a holy convocation, and you shall offer an offering made by fire to the LORD. It is a sacred assembly, and you shall do no customary work on it. Leviticus 23:36

It is the very last day of the Appointed Times of the LORD, and it looks forward to the Eternity, so it is the one day that all Bible prophecy actually looks forward to.

Jesus mirrored this day when He resurrected from the dead on the 8th day of the Week, which is also the first day of the new week. Ultimately, just as there were 7 days connected with the original creation week, represented by 6,000 years of human history and 1,000 years in the Millenium (yet to come), this will effectively be the 8th day of Creation, it is just that this day will never end.

8. Revelation 21:1 — The original creation order, not just perfectly restored, but made completely new.

Importantly, it will no longer be subject to anti-creational forces, but will be the beginning of Eternity in which everything will forever remain just as God creates it and God will dwell with His people on a new earth where Jesus will rule forever as the fulfilment of the promise given to King David as recorded in 2 Samuel 7:16:

16 And your house and your kingdom shall be established forever before you. Your throne shall be established forever.” ’ ” 17 According to all these words and according to all this vision, so Nathan spoke to David. 2 Samuel 7:16-17

The truly amazing thing about this is that while in the original creation man walked with God in the cool of the day, as it shows in verse 8 of chapter 3 (the numbers 38 connect, as will be seen later in this article), they were walking with a preincarnate Jesus who was the face of God (Colossians 1:15, 2 Corinthians 4:6; Hebrews 1:3) and was referred to in Scripture as יְהוָֹה (Jehovah / Yahweh):

"8 And they heard the sound of the LORD God walking in the garden in the cool of the day..." Genesis 3:8

However, in the new Creation, (note that it is not just restored anymore but is completely new) scripture hints that the full Godhead will dwell with mankind, it will not just be one representing the three, but all three will be tangibly present. In the following passage we see that it is not just Jesus:

3 And I heard a loud voice from heaven saying, “Behold, the tabernacle of God is with men, and He will dwell with them, and they shall be His people. God Himself will be with them and be their God. 4 And God will wipe away every tear from their eyes; there shall be no more death, nor sorrow, nor crying. There shall be no more pain, for the former things have passed away.” 5 Then He who sat on the throne said, “Behold, I make all things new.” And He said to me, “Write, for these words are true and faithful.” Revelation 21:3-5

In Revelation 21:3-5, the, "Tabernacle" (or tent) signifies Jesus’s, "God with us" presence - Here Jesus is represented as the Tabernacle:

John 1:14 ("Tabernacled among us"): The Greek word skēnoō means to pitch a tent or tabernacle. John uses this to show that just as God dwelt among the Israelites in the wilderness tabernacle, He took up residence in human form through Jesus.

John 2:19-21 (The Temple of His Body): Jesus refers to his own body as the temple (or tabernacle), indicating that the physical structure was temporary, but his body was the true, permanent dwelling place of God.

Colossians 2:9 (Fullness of Deity): This verse reinforces that in Jesus, "all the fullness of Deity dwells in bodily form," making Him the tangible location of God's presence.

Hebrews 9:11-12 (The Greater Tabernacle): Jesus is described as the High Priest of a "greater and more perfect tabernacle, not made with hands," meaning his own body and ministry surpassed the old covenant, earthly tabernacle.

Revelation 21:3 (God's Final Dwelling): While speaking of the New Jerusalem, this verse confirms the theme that God’s tabernacle is ultimately with humanity, mediated through Christ's work.

Then the expression "God himself" indicates the "Father's" presence. Here are some specific New Testament verses where "God" represents the Father:

1 Corinthians 8:6 (ESV): "...yet for us there is one God, the Father, from whom are all things and for whom we exist, and one Lord, Jesus Christ...".

2 Corinthians 1:3 (NLT): "All praise to God, the Father of our Lord Jesus Christ. God is our merciful Father and the source of all comfort".

Ephesians 4:6 (NIV): "...one God and Father of all, who is over all and through all and in all".

1 Peter 1:3 (ESV): "Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ! According to his great mercy, he has caused us to be born again...".

John 6:27 (NIV): "...on whom God the Father has placed his seal of approval."

Galatians 1:1 (NIV): "...sent not from men nor by a man, but by Jesus Christ and God the Father, who raised him from the dead".

1 Thessalonians 1:1 (ESV): "...in God the Father and the Lord Jesus Christ...".

James 1:27 (ESV): "Religion that is pure and undefiled before God, the Father, is this: to visit orphans and widows in their affliction...".

These verses establish God the Father as the source of all things and the specific subject of worship alongside the Son.

The Holy Spirit is, "implicitly" present as part of the unified "God" in the new heaven and new earth, with the text focusing on the "Lord God Almighty and the Lamb" acting as the "temple" or "light".

Revelation 21:22-23 do hint at the presence of the Spirit in verse 23, where it says "... for the glory of God did lighten it":

Other Hints of the Holy Spirit's Tangible Presence:

The River of Life: In Revelation 22:1, the river of life flows from the throne of God and the Lamb, symbolizing the, "life-giving, sustaining presence of the Holy Spirit".

The Bride's Unity: The Holy Spirit, which indwells believers in the present, will, "fully" conform them to the image of Christ, allowing them to, "experience" God’s presence without the "hindrance" of Sin.

Complete Presence: Because God is, "fully" present in all his fullness, the Holy Spirit is, "not absent", but is, "part of the divine,, "uninhibited" presence that fills the new creation.

Ultimately, the focus of Revelation 21:3-5 is the final, "unveiling" of God's, "intimate," "direct," "relationship with humanity," with all three persons of the Trinity functioning together, just as in the "restored Eden".

This is the storyline of Scripture, and the fact that this can be outlined with exactly seven verses that at first seem unrelated is itself fitting, because seven is the number of:

completion

fullness

divine orchestration

God through His Spirit guides us through an entire arc of God’s redemptive plan, with Old Testament (Old Covenant) types and shadows all pointing us to the greater fulfilment In Jesus in the New Testament (New Covenant). As is often said, "The Old Testament is the New Testament concealed, and the New Testament is the Old Testament revealed."

The Theological Takeaway: God Is a God of Order

Everything you’ve been seeing — in the text, in the themes, in the patterns — points to this truth:

The God who created the world in Genesis 1:1 is the same God who orders history, fulfills His promises, judges evil, restores His people, and brings all things to completion in Christ.

The numerical patterns are not the foundation of this truth — but they beautifully echo it.

They remind us that:

God is consistent

God is intentional

God is sovereign

God is faithful

God is the same in creation, covenant, judgment, and redemption

And they invite us to marvel at the depth and unity of Scripture. Once you start seeing Scripture as a unified, Spirit‑woven tapestry, patterns like chiastic structures, prophetic arcs, and creation echoes begin to emerge everywhere. And the 7 verses we’ve been exploring are perfectly suited for a chiastic reading, which we will discuss next.

How These 7 Verses Form a Chiastic Structure

So, one final aspect of all of this can be seen in the "chiasm" that the 7 verses form. A chiasm is a literary structure where the verses that are part of it are aligned or shaped like a mirror (A‑B‑C‑D‑C′‑B′‑A′). It places the most important truth at the center, with the outer layers reflecting each other. This means the verses represented by A and A' will reflect each other; as will those for B and B'; and those for C and C'. Essentially all point to the Center verse that in this example is represented by the verse for D. This is the most important verse in the structure, as is at the heart of why the whole chiastic structure was created for.

In this respect, the 7 verses, that are all connected by being the only verses in the bible with a numeric value of 2701, naturally fall into a 7‑part chiasm that mirrors the entire biblical story — from creation to new creation.

Below is the structure, followed by a detailed explanation.

THE CHIASTIC STRUCTURE OF THE SEVEN VERSES

A — Genesis 1:1

Creation: God establishes order, purpose, and a world for His presence.

B — Genesis 8:14

Re‑Creation: God restores creation after judgment.

C — Leviticus 20:27

Holiness Boundaries: God protects His creation from spiritual corruption.

D — 2 Samuel 1:18

The Center: The Rise of God’s Anointed King David’s kingship is established; the line of Messiah is preserved.

C′ — 1 Kings 8:15

Holiness Fulfilled: God fills the Temple — His dwelling place among His people.

B′ — Micah 6:9

Re‑Creation Warning: God warns His people that judgment is coming to restore order.

A′ — Nahum 2:10

Un‑Creation of the Wicked: God returns His enemies to chaos, reversing creation.

WHY THIS CHIASM IS SO POWERFUL

Below I will walk through each pair and show how they mirror each other.

A ↔ A′

Genesis 1:1 ↔ Nahum 2:10

Creation ↔ Un‑Creation

• Genesis 1:1 — God brings order out of chaos.

Nahum 2:10 — God returns Nineveh to chaos (“empty, desolate, waste”).

These are deliberate opposites. The story begins with God forming creation and ends with God unforming the enemies of creation.

 B ↔ B′

Genesis 8:14 ↔ Micah 6:9

Re‑Creation After Judgment ↔ Warning of Judgment Before Re‑Creation

• Genesis 8:14 — the earth becomes dry; judgment ends; new creation begins.

• Micah 6:9 — God warns His people that judgment is coming to restore them.

Both are hinge moments where God uses judgment to bring renewal.

 C ↔ C′

Leviticus 20:27 ↔ 1 Kings 8:15

Holiness Boundaries ↔ Holiness Fulfilled

• Leviticus 20:27 — God protects His people from spiritual corruption.

• 1 Kings 8:15 — God fulfills His promise and fills the Temple with His glory.

These two passages mirror each other as:

• boundary and blessing

• protection and presence

• holiness demanded and holiness manifested

D — The Center

2 Samuel 1:18 — The Rise of God’s Anointed King

In a chiasm, the center is always the key. Here, the center is:

the preservation of David’s line

the honoring of God’s anointed

the establishment of the royal house

the covenant that leads to the Messiah

This is the pivot point of the entire structure.

Everything before it leads toward it.

Everything after it flows from it.

This is exactly how the whole Bible works:

Creation → Covenant → Kingship

• Kingship → Temple → Judgment → New Creation

The center is the King — ultimately Christ.

🌈 THE CHIASM AS A PROPHETIC ARC

Here is the same structure in a table:

Position Verse Theme Prophetic Meaning
A Genesis 1:1 Creation God establishes order
B Genesis 8:14 Re‑Creation God restores order after judgment
C Leviticus 20:27 Holiness Boundaries God protects His people from corruption
D 2 Samuel 1:18 Kingship God preserves His anointed line
C′ 1 Kings 8:15 Holiness Fulfilled God dwells with His people
B′ Micah 6:9 Warning God warns before judgment to restore order
A′ Nahum 2:10 Un‑Creation God judges anti‑creation forces
This is astonishingly coherent - it is a miniature of the entire Bible.

THE CHIASM REVEALS THE HEART OF THE STORY

At the center is the King — the anointed one. Everything else is creation, covenant, holiness, judgment, and restoration orbiting around Him.

This is the same structure as:

the Psalms

the Prophets

the Gospels

Revelation

the entire biblical canon

The Bible is Christ‑centered — and so is this chiasm.

THE PROPHETIC ARC  of the 7 VERSES culminating in REVELATION

How the Bible’s story moves from Genesis 1 to Revelation 21–22

Above we considered an overarching Prophetic Arc of the Bible that involved 7 stages, as follows:

Creation → Covenant → Temple → Judgement → Messiah → Church → New Creation

This showed that the Bible begins with creation and ends with a new creation. Everything in between is the story of God restoring what was lost. The 7 verses we have been examining also trace that journey — and Revelation completes it.

Therefore, we will now consider the specific arc of these 7 verses to consider how they form their own prophetic arc that meshes with the larger prophetic arc of the bible that concludes with Revelation:

1. CREATION — Genesis 1:1

“In the beginning God created the heavens and the earth.”

Revelation ends where Genesis begins — with creation, but renewed:

“Then I saw a new heaven and a new earth.” (Revelation 21:1)

Beginning and end mirror each other. Creation is not discarded — it is restored.

2. RE‑CREATION — Genesis 8:14

The flood ends, the earth becomes dry, and humanity begins again.

Revelation mirrors this with:

the end of judgment

the removal of the sea (symbol of chaos)

the renewal of the earth

the wiping away of tears

Revelation 21:4 is the final “dry land” moment — the end of the flood of sin and death.

4 And God shall wipe away all tears from their eyes; and there shall be no more death, neither sorrow, nor crying, neither shall there be any more pain: for the former things are passed away. Revelation 21:4

3. HOLINESS BOUNDARIES — Leviticus 20:27

God protects His people from spiritual corruption.

Revelation completes this theme:

no unclean thing enters the New Jerusalem (Revelation 21:27)

the serpent is destroyed (Revelation 20:10)

Babylon (the ultimate symbol of corruption) falls (Revelation 18)

The holiness boundaries of Leviticus become the holiness reality of the new creation.

4. THE KING — 2 Samuel 1:18

The center of the chiasm — the rise of God’s anointed king.

Revelation brings this to its climax:

5 And one of the elders saith unto me, Weep not: behold, the Lion of the tribe of Judah, the Root of David, hath prevailed to open the book, and to loose the seven seals thereof. Revelation 5:5

And

16 And he hath on his vesture and on his thigh a name written, KING OF KINGS, AND LORD OF LORDS. Revelation 19:16

The Davidic King becomes the cosmic King. The “Song of the Bow” becomes the “Song of the Lamb.”

This is the heart of the story.

5. HOLINESS FULFILLED — 1 Kings 8:15

The glory fills the Temple, God dwells with His people.

Revelation completes this in the most astonishing way:

22 And I saw no temple therein: for the Lord God Almighty and the Lamb are the temple of it. Revelation 21:22

The Temple is no longer a building — it is God Himself dwelling with humanity.

This is the fulfillment of Solomon’s prayer.

6. WARNING BEFORE JUDGMENT — Micah 6:9

“The LORD’s voice cries to the city… Hear the rod!”

Revelation echoes this repeatedly:

the seven trumpets (warnings)

the seven seals (warnings)

the seven bowls (final judgments)

the call to “come out of Babylon” (Rev 18:4)

God always warns before He judges. Micah’s cry becomes Revelation’s final call to repentance.

7. UN‑CREATION OF THE WICKED — Nahum 2:10

“She is empty, desolate, and waste.”

Revelation completes this theme:

Babylon becomes desolate (Rev 18:2)

the beast and false prophet are destroyed (Rev 19:20)

Satan is cast into the lake of fire (Rev 20:10)

death and Hades are abolished (Rev 20:14)

Everything that opposes God’s creation and inhibits His plan of Redemption is unmade.

THE ARC COMPLETED: GOD DWELLS WITH HUMANITY FOREVER

So, the entire story — from Genesis 1:1 to Revelation 22:21— is about one thing:

God restoring His creation so He can dwell with His people forever.

Revelation 21:3 is the climax of the Bible:

“Behold, the dwelling place of God is with humanity. He will dwell with them, and they will be His people.”

This is the fulfillment of:

creation

covenant

kingship

temple

prophecy

judgment

restoration

Everything the 7 verses pointed toward finds its final expression here.

THE CHIASTIC ARC FROM GENESIS TO REVELATION

From this perspective, below is a table showing a modified version of the Chiastic Structure of the 7 Verses, to show how each of the individual themes associated with them ultimately find their final fulfilment in Revelation and are centered on the King - the Lamb who reigns:

Stage OT Verse Theme Revelation Fulfillment
A Genesis 1:1 Creation New creation (Revelation 21:1)
B Genesis 8:14 Re‑creation End of judgment, renewal (Revelation 21:4–5)
C Leviticus 20:27 Holiness boundaries No unclean thing enters (Revelation 21:27)
D 2 Samuel 1:18 The King The Lamb reigns (Revelation 5, 19)
C′ 1 Kings 8:15 God’s presence fills the Temple God and the Lamb are the Temple (Revelation 21:22)
B′ Micah 6:9 Warning before judgment Trumpets, seals, bowls (Revelation 6–16)
A′ Nahum 2:10 Un‑creation of the wicked Fall of Babylon, defeat of evil (Revelation 18–20)

This is breathtakingly coherent, and only God could orchestrate this.

THE BEAUTY OF THE WHOLE STORY

These seven verses — chosen by their numerical equivalence with each other (carrying the value of 2701, that is 37 x 73 (that in the numbers 3 and 7 give us insight into His nature - 3 persons and a 7-fold nature to His Spirit), beginning with the most definitive verse about God in the bible, Genesis 1:1, the very first verse that shows He is the uncreated Omnipotent; Omniscient and Omnipresence God, who existed outside of time (eternal), before He created all that exists, for the purpose of dwelling with those He made in His own image — form a prophetic arc that:

begins in creation

moves through covenant and kingship

warns of judgment

describes judgment

and ends in restoration

Revelation is the completion of that arc.

It is the Genesis of the New World.

It is the Temple filled forever.

It is the Davidic King enthroned eternally.

It is the end of chaos and the beginning of everlasting order.

It is the fulfillment of everything God began in Genesis 1:1.

So, the fact that Genesis 1:1 carries the value of 2701 is not a random or chance happening, it is by design by an amazing God, who has hidden many treasures in His Word for those who are seeking. In this respect, there is an intriguing statement by Jesus in Revelation 3:3 (the age of Jesus when he ascended to heaven):

3 Remember therefore how thou hast received and heard, and hold fast, and repent. If therefore thou shalt not watch, I will come on thee as a thief, and thou shalt not know what hour I will come upon thee. Revelation 3:3

Here Jesus is giving a warning to the Church of Sardis to remember how they have received and heard, so that they can hold fast and repent, which means to turn away from Sin (that separates us from God) and turn towards God. This is put into the context of watching in verse 2, which is extremely important because the repeated use of γρηγορεύω (grēgoreuō) across Jesus’ teachings is not accidental. In Revelation 3:2–3, Jesus is deliberately invoking the same “watching” theme that He used throughout His earthly ministry, and the meaning is consistent: watching means living in a state of readiness for His coming. However, while it becomes expressed through repentance, obedience, and spiritual alertness, it is all dependent upon them watching for His Return. This is why He was able to say to His disciples in Luke 21 that when they saw certain signs begin to happen they were to look up because their redemption, at that time, would be drawing near:

28 Now when these things begin to happen, look up and lift up your heads, because your redemption draws near.” Luke 21:28

Then when "not watching" is put into the context of Him "coming as a thief", which is imagery that always refers to unexpected arrival and the need for readiness, He is implying that they simply need to be watching for His return, as it says in Mark 13:35:

35 Watch ye therefore: for ye know not when the master of the house cometh, at even, or at midnight, or at the cockcrowing, or in the morning: Mark 13:35

Therefore, as this also involves watching for signs, then in Revelation 3:3, when He says that if they do not watch they will be caught as a thief, the implication is logically that if they do watch they will not be caught as a thief.

Clearly, Jesus is exhorting believers in the Church of Sardis to be watching for His return, which is fascinating because the name Sardis derives from the Hebrew word שָׂרַד, that can be transliterated as “sahrad,” which carries the meaning “to escape.” In its noun form, this yields “escaping ones” or “those who came out.” While some sources also translate the name as signifying “renovation,” the escape/exodus meaning predominates across the search results and so the message is clear - those who are to be part of "the escaping ones', escaping the trials of the tribulation to come, should be watching for Jesus' return so that they are not caught as a thief and end up being left behind.

Regardless of what nuances one wants to place upon this statement, it is undeniable that it can also mean that when we are watching we will know when He is coming and to that end, I will continue to watch and pray and search God's word for patterns that reveal connections and clues that help us to know when He might return.

Importantly, I am never going to suggest that it definitely will or won't be on a specific day or time, I am simply looking for patterns. While my last article did include a suggested date, purely because of certain patterns that I had found, I repeatedly said that it was speculative and that it just might be a possibility. At the same time, I also constantly remind people of 2 Peter 3:9 that clearly indicates that if the LORD delays beyond our hope and expectations, it is only because He does not want anyone to be lost:

9 The Lord is not slack concerning his promise, as some men count slackness; but is longsuffering to us-ward, not willing that any should perish, but that all should come to repentance. 2 Peter 3:9

So, even if we do find the correct date because we are watching, we will never really be sure of it until we are caught up into the air; but at least by watching, we will have spent time with the LORD, and will definitely know the season of His Return and we will be ready for Him when the trumpet blows.

Genesis 1:1 connection to Ezekiel

With all the preceding being to demonstrate the significance of Genesis 1:1 and how passages that are numerically linked, can also be thematically linked, to reveal aspects of God's redemptive plans that are hidden to any casual reading of scripture, we will now turn our attention to the Ezekiel connection.

Ultimately, as stated in the Introduction, this is the central idea of this article, which I believe reveals a mathematical pathway in Ezekiel that confirms the Ezekiel 38 Gog / Magog War, that I also believe will be aligned with the Rapture event (either triggering it or being triggered by it) is imminent. Importantly, it is the next major multi-national war that will involve Israel beyond what is currently occurring with Iran, that as I said in the Introduction is definitely a sign that we are close. Significantly, as I also said, the fact that Iran is still a prophesied participant of the Ezekiel 38 war, this tells us that either the Rapture is very-very soon, before a Regime change can occur, or that we are a long way off, because somehow Iran will defeat the combined might of Israel and the US and they will manage to rebuild their strength. This latter scenario seems unlikely, given the determination of both President Trump and Benjamin Netanyahu, so I believe this latest war with Iran could be a sign of just how close we are to Rapture and Jesus returning.

With this thought in mind, I will now try to demonstrate the Ezekiel connection to Genesis 1:1, but to do so, I will firstly also need to reintroduce the idea of Triangular numbers, that I have written on before. I will briefly touch on them here again, for those that are unfamiliar with them.

Triangular Numbers and the Bible

1. What Are Triangular Numbers?

A Triangular number is a number that can be arranged in the shape of an equilateral triangle, such as the examples below, that show the Triangular numbers 1; 2; 3; 4; and 5. Essentially, for the Triangular number, we are looking at the number of rows present in the Triangle, not the number of dots. Then the value of that Triangular number is represented by the number of dots, or elements, that comprise the Triangle. So, in these examples:

Triangular number 1 = 1

Triangular number 2 = 3

Triangular number 3 = 6

Triangular number 4 = 10

Triangular number 5 = 15

To aid the calculations of larger Triangular numbers there is actually a formula, as per below:

The nth Triangular number is calculated as follows:

Tn=n(n+1)/2

Examples:

• T1=1(1+1)/2 = 1

T3 = 3(3+1)/2=6

T10 = 10(10+1)/2 = 55

• T17 = 17(17+1)/2 = 153

T36 = 36(36+1)/2 = 666

These numbers show up in nature, geometry, and number theory and amazingly are quite frequent in Scripture. Interestingly, the Greek Pythagoreans, who lived around the 6th–5th century BC, are the earliest known group to systematically study Triangular numbers and are often credited with discovering them, so the Bible's earlier use of them reflects God's omniscience; sovereignty and divine intentionality for encoding hidden meaning into the text through the use of these special numbers.

Bible's use of triangular numbers

The most obvious connection of the number 3 and the Triangular pattern is in the fact that it perfectly reflects the trinitarian nature of God:

Father, Son, Holy Spirit

This then plays out in relation to other triads that reflect God and His work of Redemption in history:

Faith, Hope, Love

Holy, Holy, Holy

Three days and nights in the tomb

Three patriarchs (Abraham, Isaac, Jacob)

On the Third Day - a prophecy watchers favorite

The Triangle is one of the oldest symbols used to represent the divine triad. As such, it is deeply embedded in Christian symbolism, and it ultimately leads us to Triangular Numbers. While the Bible is full of structured numbers—7, 12, 40, 70, 144,000—and ancient Hebrew culture was comfortable with symbolic mathematics, we find that Triangular Numbers hold more of a special significance in scripture. They reveal a hidden aspect of a passage that God is wanting to emphasize and as such while the actual numbers are in plain view their meaning can become like golden nuggets, that we might find on a treasure hunt, when we are seeking for deeper truths.

Essentially, in Scripture they act as a sort of symbolic decoder for numbers because of the way that they inherently connect two numbers. A classic example of this is the Triangular number 17, that has the value 153 - T17 = 17(17+1)/2 = 153. Therefore, 17 and 153 are connected together and therefore carry the same meaning with the value of the Triangular number being an extrapolation of the Triangular number itself. In this instance, 17 takes its primary meaning from the fact that it is both the completion and fulfilment of the Law by Jesus when He fulfilled the Law (10) of Sin and Death by dying on the Cross for our Sins, and then resurrected to complete (7) Redemption after 3 days and nights in the grave. In this way, 10 + 7 = 17 is the completion of Redemption, that occurred on the 17th of Nisan, three days after Passover on the 14th Nisan.

So, 17 represents resurrection and new life, being the day Jesus as the First Fruit of the Harvest actually rose to new life, and as such 153, its connected value, represents salvation, just as it was revealed to be in John's Gospel in chapter 21 (3x7 - again God's personal numbers 3 and 7), when it was associated with the large catch of Fish that are symbolic of souls that are saved, remembering that Jesus told His disciples that He would be making them Fishers of Men

10 Jesus saith unto them, Bring of the fish which ye have now caught. 11 Simon Peter went up, and drew the net to land full of great fishes, a hundred and fifty and three: and for all there were so many, yet was not the net broken. John 21:10-11

The Triangular Numbers of Genesis 1:1

With this understanding, we will now return to our foundational scripture verse Genesis 1:1, to see what we can discover in relation to its mathematical construction, apart from its total value, which will obviously involve Triangular Numbers.

Firstly, when looking at the values of each of the 7 words in Genesis 1:1, we see that they can broadly be divided into two groups - One that totals 1998 (words 1-5) and the other that totals 703 (words 6-7), as shown above.

The significance of the first group, that is comprised of the 5 Hebrew words translated into English as 7 words "In the beginning God created the Heavens", is seen in the fact that its total of 1998 can be understood as 666 x 3 = 1998. Theologically and symbolically, at this precise point in the creation account, the earth, the dwelling place for man, does not exist, and Satan has not yet fallen because scripture says in Job 38:7 (noting again that the chapter number 38 will be important later) the following:

7 When the morning stars sang together, and all the sons of God shouted for joy? Job 38:7

This verse is important because it shows that the entrance of SIN did not occur until after creation because Satan was part of the 'sons of God' who all shouted for joy when creation was completed; and at least symbolically, after the first five words, this had not yet occurred. This suggests that here the 666 x 3 (1998) represents the establishment of 'Free Will' that allows the possibility of Sin because scripture in Revelation 13:8 also said that Jesus was slain from the foundation of the world. This means that in the very beginning, God's decision to allow 'Free Will', that would allow men to choose or reject righteousness, before He had even created them, could be aligned with this numerical occurrence of '3 x 666':

8 And all that dwell upon the earth shall worship him, whose names are not written in the book of life of the Lamb slain from the foundation of the world. Revelation 13:8

So, this means that numerically we now have three main numbers associated with Genesis 1: 1, being:

666 - 3 times for total of 1998 representing the words - "In the beginning God created the heavens".

703 - resenting the words - "and the earth".

2701 - total value of all words "In the beginning God created the heavens and the earth"

Amazingly, each of these numbers is the value of a Triangular Number that can again be determined using our formula Tn=n(n+1)/2 as follows:

T36 = 36(36+1)/2 = 666

T37 = 37(37+1)/2 = 703

T73 = 73(73+1)/2 = 2701

And each of these Triangular numbers can be represented by a Triangle, with each having dots or elements representing their Triangular Number Value, as per below:

the 73rd Triangle having 73 rows and 2,701 dots or elements

the 37th Triangle having 37 rows and 703 dots or elements

the 36th Triangle having 36 rows and 666 dots or elements

Hopefully, the examples in the images below, will help to clarify how these are to be understood (noting that not all images are to actual scale):

In this respect, the 73rd Triangular Number on the left represents all of the words of Genesis 1:1 - "In the beginning God created the heavens and the earth", that have a total value of 2701.

However, as we have already seen numerically this total can be broken down into 1998 (which is 666 x 3) and 703; and since 666 and 703 are both Triangular numbers as shown above, then the single Triangle representing the 73rd Triangular number 2701 can be broken down into 4 separate triangles, as follows:

3 @ T36 (666x3) and 1 @ T37 (703), as shown in images below:

By rearranging the 3 @ 36th triangles above, you can form the larger Triangle (seen below left), in which an inverted 37th Triangle can be added into the middle space, as per the image below right, to complete one large 73rd Triangle that represents Genesis 1:1

Again using images from Peter Bluer's Website on Bible Maths, we can put this large 73rd Triangle, that represents the value of all the words of Genesis 1:1, into context, showing how the numbers all fit together:

Importantly for our discussion, when you the put the values of the triangular numbers onto this triangle we get any amazing insight into the heart of God and how He works out His plan for Redemption.

Essentially, we have one large Triangle that represents all of Creation.

This is formed from a 73rd Triangular Number that it a representation of God's personal numbers 3 and 7 that has the value 2701 (37 x 73). Then at the Heart of Creation, we have another triangle that represents God that is formed from a 37th Triangular Number that has the value 703. Filling the space between these two triangles of God, we have three triangles that are each formed from a 36th Triangular Number that has the value 666. They fill all of creation outside of God, unto the boundary of creation itself, with symbolic 666s.

As I stated above, the 3 @ T36 Triangles of 666 represent the numerical value of the 5 words "In the beginning God created the heavens" showing that God had chosen to allow Free-Will in His Creation, from its very foundation, knowing that there would be a price to pay that only He could cover. This was an act of Love because Love only functions when there is Free-Will and it was an act of Grace, that was symbolized by the numerical value of 5 words (with 5 being the number for Grace), that would cost Him everything.

This is why the middle Triangle that represents T37 and that has the value of 703 is all about God and is actually pointing from the Top down to the Bottom, symbolizing that God's Love would come from Heaven to Earth, when JESUS the Logos, the Word of God, would take on flesh, and in the greatest display of true Humility and Love, He would leave His Glory with the Father, and come down to earth to take on our Sin to redeem us from Death. So as previously stated, 37 and 73 are numbers that describe the very nature of God, and as such represent His personal seal on something. So, this middle triangle, that is the 37th Triangle with a value of 703 it is representing God and the sacrifice He Himself is paying to cover the Sin that will enter His creation because of Free-Will, as represented by the Triangles of 666 that surround God's personal T37 Triangle of 703.

Additionally, the fact that the T37 triangle is in the middle of the Larger T73 triangle, this shows that it represents God's heart and that everything else is flowing out of that. However, it is important to note that the Evil, that flows out of the Free-Will that God graciously gives, is ultimately bounded by God because its outer limits are defined by the T73 Triangle, that has the value of 2701 (Genesis 1:1).

It is just as God said when He declared that He would not always strive with Sinful man, yet his years would be the symbolic 120, which when written in Hebrew words עֶשְׂרִ֖ים מֵאָ֥ה (‘eśerim mê’â) also carries the value of 666, as the following shows:

Hebrew Letter English Equivalent Gematria Value
ע Ayin 70
ש Shin 300
ר Resh 200
י Yod 10
ם Mem (final) 40
מ Mem 40
א Alef 1
ה He 5
Total 666

עשרים = 70 + 300 + 200 + 10 + 40 = 620

מאה = 40 + 1 + 5 = 46

620 + 46 = 666

Linguistically the phrase refers to 120, but numerically in standard gematria, it sums to 666—showing that numerically there was a symbolic limit to Sin and Striving with Mankind. In the same way the limit of Sin that is symbolized by the 3 @ 666 Triangles that surround God's 37th Triangle, that sits at the heart of His creation, comes because they are bounded by God's larger 73rd Triangle, beyond which they cannot extend. So, God is both at the heart of His Creation and He has set a boundary beyond which Sin and the Wicked will no longer be able to harm Gods people, just as He states in the numerically related Psalms - 37 and 73:

Psalm 37:

1 Fret not thyself because of evildoers, neither be thou envious against the workers of iniquity. 2 For they shall soon be cut down like the grass, and wither as the green herb. 3 Trust in the LORD, and do good; so shalt thou dwell in the land, and verily thou shalt be fed. Psalms 37:1-3

Psalm 73:

12 Behold, these are the ungodly, who prosper in the world; they increase in riches. 13 Verily I have cleansed my heart in vain, and washed my hands in innocency. 14 For all the day long have I been plagued, and chastened every morning. 15 If I say, I will speak thus; behold, I should offend against the generation of thy children. 16 When I thought to know this, it was too painful for me; 17 Until I went into the sanctuary of God; then understood I their end. 18 Surely thou didst set them in slippery places: thou castedst them down into destruction. 19 How are they brought into desolation, as in a moment! they are utterly consumed with terrors. Psalms 73:12-19

Then in a mathematical twist that weaves theology and numbers together, that could only be choreographed by the ultimate mastermind of the Universe - God, we see the following when we combine all four of His personal numbers 3; 7; 37 and 73:

3 + 7 + 37 +73 = 120

So even in His personal numbers, that declare who He is, in the very first verse of the bible, we have a revelation of His Holiness that limits how long He will strive with Sinful Man.

Importantly this limit is also a prophetic marker of His return, to establish His Millennial reign, not just a pointer to the Antichrist. It does this because prior to the Fall of Man, time progressed in line with Sabbaths that were based upon cycles of 7, just like the very first Sabbath on the 7th day of Creation, when God stopped creating and rested.

This link to the number 7 was likely extended from a weekly observance to a cycle occurring every 7 years (a concept later known as the Shmita year among the Israelites) by Adam and Eve. At that time though, prior to the fall, which the bible supports as occurring when Adam was 99, there was no reason for a Jubilee year, which was designated to occur every 50th year in the land of Israel, when all lost possessions would be restored. The people were instructed to count seven Shmita years—totaling 49 years—after which they would sound the Shophar (the Ram's Horn) on the Day of Atonement to usher in the 50th Jubilee year. This year would be marked by rest, cancellation of debts, and the return of land to its rightful owners, if lost. Following the fall, this practice became the limit on how long individuals would endure the loss of their property, and by extension it became a symbol of the time that would have to pass in human history before God would initiate the restoration of His good and orderly creation. So, numerically, it was seen as a predictor of the time leading up to the Rapture, as detailed below:

50 (Jubilee) x 120 (God's limit on Sin) = 6,000 years of human history - before Jesus would come to restore the world to righteousness and reign as the King of Kings.

This also aligns with Hosea's prophecy regarding the Third Day following Jesus' crucifixion, as well as God's declaration in 2 Peter 3:8 that to Him, a Day is like a Thousand Years, and a Thousand Years like a Day. This later prophecy seems to draw a parallel between the six days of creation, followed by a Sabbath on the seventh day, and the 6,000 years of human history (representing the six days) leading to a 1,000-year Millennium—the seventh day of rest when Jesus will rule and reign.

How Ezekiel Connects

With the foundation established, we can now explore how Genesis 1:1 numerically connects to the Book of Ezekiel. This exploration will help us uncover what God is revealing to us in these final days.

Importantly, throughout our discussion, we have recognized that God links passages by the numerical values of their words (the 7 verses all with value 2701) and also defines them in relation to triangular numbers (Genesis 1:1 comprised of 3 Triangular numbers combined into 5 triangles). Now, we will delve into a third approach, which combines these two concepts, examining how chapter numbers align with passages linked through their Triangular Number associations. This will soon become clearer.

Essentially, we can now see that Genesis 1:1 is associated with three triangular numbers T36; T37; and T73, where T36 and T37 triangles combine to make one complete triangle T73 that represents the 7 Hebrew words that comprise this verse, with a total numerical value of 2701. However, given we have already considered the how the 73rd Triangular Number's value of 2701 connects to 7 verses and forms a Chiastic structure, we will now just consider the two primary components that formed this total in the 36th and 37th Triangles.

Theoretically, if this hypothesis is correct, this means that these two component Triangular Numbers could be pointing to any chapter 36 and 37 in the bible, so long as these chapters have a unified message, just as Genesis 1:1, that was formed from these triangles, had a unified message that formed both the Prophetic Arc and the Chiasm that we discussed in some detail above.

As the following table shows there are actually only 7 books that have a 36thand 37th chapter:

Book Number of Chapters Book Number of Chapters Book Number of Chapters
Genesis 50 Isaiah 66 Romans 16
Exodus 40 Jeremiah 52 1 Corinthians 16
Leviticus 27 Lamentations 5 2 Corinthians 13

Song of Solomon 8 Acts 28 Revelation 22

These are highlighted in bold above and listed below:

Genesis

• Exodus

• Job

• Psalms

• Isaiah

• Jeremiah

• Ezekiel

So, again we have a pattern of 7 that continues in relation to Genesis 1:1

An examination of the two chapters 36 and 37, in each of these books, to see which may have a unified message, results in the following brief summaries:

Genesis 36–37

Genesis 36 — The Generations of Esau

A genealogical chapter listing Esau’s descendants, the chiefs of Edom, and the early kings who ruled there.

It establishes Edom as a significant neighboring nation and contrasts Esau’s line with Jacob’s.

Genesis 37 — Joseph’s Dreams and Betrayal

Joseph, favored by Jacob, receives a special coat and has dreams suggesting he will rule over his family.

His brothers grow jealous, throw him into a pit, and sell him to Ishmaelite traders.

Joseph is taken to Egypt, while the brothers deceive Jacob into thinking Joseph was killed.

Exodus 36–37

Exodus 36 — Construction of the Tabernacle Begins

Skilled artisans, led by Bezalel and Oholiab, begin building the Tabernacle.

The people bring more offerings than needed, and Moses tells them to stop.

The chapter describes the making of the curtains, frames, and coverings.

Exodus 37 — Building the Holy Furnishings

Bezalel constructs the Ark of the Covenant, the mercy seat, the table of showbread, the lampstand, and the altar of incense.

These are the sacred objects placed inside the Tabernacle.

Job 36–37

Job 36 — Elihu Defends God’s Justice

Elihu continues speaking, arguing that God is always just and uses suffering to teach and restore people.

He urges Job to consider God’s greatness and righteousness.

Job 37 — Elihu Describes God’s Power in Nature

Elihu points to storms, thunder, lightning, and snow as signs of God’s majesty.

He emphasizes that humans cannot fully understand God’s ways and that Job should humble himself before Him.

Psalms 36–37

Psalm 36 — Human Wickedness vs. God’s Steadfast Love

Contrasts the deceit of the wicked with the vastness of God’s mercy and faithfulness.

The psalmist asks God to continue protecting the upright.

Psalm 37 — “Do Not Fret Because of Evildoers”

A wisdom psalm encouraging trust in the Lord despite the apparent success of the wicked.

Repeated themes: wait patiently, do good, and God will ultimately vindicate the righteous.

Isaiah 36–37

Isaiah 36 — Assyria Threatens Jerusalem

The Assyrian commander (the Rabshakeh) taunts Jerusalem during King Hezekiah’s reign.

He mocks their trust in God and urges surrender.

The people remain silent as instructed by Hezekiah.

Isaiah 37 — Hezekiah Seeks God’s Deliverance

Hezekiah prays for help, and Isaiah delivers God’s promise of protection.

God sends an angel who destroys the Assyrian army.

King Sennacherib returns home and is later assassinated.

Jeremiah 36–37

Jeremiah 36 — The Burning of the Scroll

God tells Jeremiah to write His words on a scroll.

King Jehoiakim hears it read and cuts up the scroll and burns it.

God commands Jeremiah to rewrite it, adding even more words of judgment.

Jeremiah 37 — Jeremiah Imprisoned

During Zedekiah’s reign, Jeremiah is accused of deserting to the Babylonians and is thrown into a dungeon.

Zedekiah secretly asks Jeremiah for God’s word, but Jeremiah warns that the king will not escape Babylon’s judgment.

Ezekiel 36–37

Ezekiel 36 — Restoration of Israel

God promises to restore Israel’s land, cleanse the people, and give them a new heart and a new spirit.

The chapter contrasts Israel’s past shame with its future renewal.

Ezekiel 37 — The Valley of Dry Bones

Ezekiel sees a vision of dry bones coming to life followed by Him breathing His Spirit into them— symbolizing Israel’s national and spiritual resurrection.

God joins two sticks (Judah and Israel) into one, promising a united, restored kingdom under one shepherd.

Clearly, Genesis does not qualify, as the chapters are about different things - The Generations of Esau and Joseph’s Dreams and Betrayal. And neither does the book of Jeremiah qualify, as its chapters are also about different things - The Burning of the Scroll and Jeremiah being Imprisoned.

This leaves the following 5 books for consideration because all appear to have a unified message:

• Exodus - All about building the Tabernacle and Furnishing it.

• Job - Elihu providing Job with advice about his suffering.

• Psalms - Contrasts the Wicked to the goodness of God and declares the end for the wicked.

• Isaiah - deals with the threat of Assyria against Jerusalem and Hezekiah's fears and prayer that brings deliverance.

• Ezekiel - this is all about the restoration of the Land of Israel and its people, both as a nation and spiritually as God's people.

To narrow our focus further, we need to revisit the central message of the Chiastic structure established by the seven verses in the Bible that all carried the same numerical value of 2701, that was firstly found in Genesis 1:1, to see if any of the unified messages in these 5 books are related. This pivotal moment was captured in 2 Samuel 1:18, marking the transition of Israel from Saul’s faltering kingship to David’s divinely chosen leadership. This profound shift heralded the creation of Israel’s lasting royal order, ultimately culminating in the end of days when Jesus will reign as King of Kings and Lord of Lords over all nations from His Throne in the New Jerusalem, on a renewed earth. Thus, the message of the book of 2 Samuel can be seen as "central" to the entirety of Scripture.

From the moment of humanity's fall, chaos reentered God's orderly creation. The prevalence of wickedness became so overwhelming that God determined to cleanse the Earth during Noah's Flood, saving only eight people and a selection of living creatures. This global reset, set the stage for another significant moment: God's call to Abram, drawing him away from the multitude of nations. From that point onward, it became clear that God would consistently work through a remnant of humanity, those who would heed His call and be set apart from the world. Those whose hearts responded to Him would find salvation, while those whose love for worldly pleasures outweighed their desire for God would join the ranks of the lost, akin to those who perished in Noah's time. Through Abram, whose faith transformed his name to Abraham—a title reflecting his new destiny as the father of many nations—God established the nation of Israel. This nation would ultimately pave the way for Jesus, the Savior of the world because the King would require a Kingdom.

Understanding how 2 Samuel points to the Ezekiel

So central to all of this is the establishment of the nation of Israel and throughout the biblical narrative God would seal all of His promises to Israel with Covenants, and this is why 2 Samuel can be seen as central in Scripture, because it contains the Bible’s central Promise in the Davidic Covenant (2 Samuel 7). So, if there is a 'single chapter' that acts like a hinge for the entire biblical story, it’s 2 Samuel 7. Here God promises David:

A perpetual dynasty

A son who will build God’s house

A king whose throne will last forever

This covenant becomes the backbone of biblical hope.

• Psalms constantly return to David’s kingship and God’s promise to him (Psalms 2, 72, 89, 110).

• Prophets build their messianic expectations on this covenant (Isaiah 9, 11; Jeremiah 23; Ezekiel 34–37).

• The New Testament opens by anchoring Jesus in this promise: “Jesus Christ, the son of David…” (Matthew 1:1).

The early church’s preaching (Acts 2, Acts 13) explicitly interprets Jesus’ resurrection as the fulfillment of 2 Samuel 7.

29 Men and brethren, let me freely speak unto you of the patriarch David, that he is both dead and buried, and his sepulcher is with us unto this day. 30 Therefore being a prophet, and knowing that God had sworn with an oath to him, that of the fruit of his loins, according to the flesh, he would raise up Christ to sit on his throne; Acts 2:29-30

22 And when he had removed him, he raised up unto them David to be their king; to whom also he gave testimony, and said, I have found David the son of Jesse, a man after mine own heart, which shall fulfil all my will. 23 Of this man’s seed hath God according to his promise raised unto Israel a Savior, Jesus: Acts 13:22-23

In other words, the entire messianic hope of the Bible grows out of this book.

Importantly, it also explains the Rise of Jerusalem and the Temple. 2 Samuel is the book where:

Jerusalem becomes the capital

The ark is brought into the city

The idea of a permanent temple is introduced

Zion theology begins to form

This shapes:

• the Psalms (Zion psalms, Temple psalms)

• the Prophets (Jerusalem as God’s dwelling)

• the Gospels (Jesus’ ministry centers on the Temple)

• Revelation (the New Jerusalem where Jesus will rule as the King of Kings and Lord of Lords)

Without 2 Samuel, the theological geography of the Bible would be unrecognizable. More importantly, in relation to understanding why I believe the numerical structure of Genesis 1:1 is ultimately pointing to Ezekiel and not any of the other 4 books (Exodus; Job; Psalms or Isaiah), 2 Samuel also explains the creation of Israel as a Kingdom because:

1. It’s the First Time Israel Becomes a Unified, Stable Nation

Before David, Israel is a loose tribal confederation:

No central government

No capital city

No unified army

No permanent sanctuary

Constant internal and external instability

2 Samuel is the moment when all of that begins to change.

What David accomplishes

Unites the northern and southern tribes

Establishes Jerusalem as a neutral, central capital

Creates a standing army

Consolidates borders

Brings the ark into the city, making Jerusalem the spiritual center

Therefore, this is the actual birth of Israel as a nation-state, not just a collection of tribes.

2. It Establishes the Kingdom as God’s Chosen Vehicle for His Purposes

The monarchy isn’t just a political development — it becomes the theological structure through which God will work in history.

Why this matters

God chooses David’s line as the means through which He will rule His people.

The king becomes the representative of the people before God.

The kingdom becomes the stage on which God’s promises unfold.

This is why the Davidic covenant in 2 Samuel 7 is so central: it’s not just about David; it’s about God’s long-term plan for the world.

3. It Creates the Framework for the Prophets

Once Israel has a kingdom, the prophets have something to critique, defend, and hope for.

Without 2 Samuel:

Isaiah’s vision of a righteous Davidic king makes no sense

Jeremiah’s promise of a “righteous Branch from David” has no anchor

Ezekiel’s hope for “David my servant” to shepherd the people has no context

The entire prophetic critique of corrupt kings' collapses

The prophetic literature is built on the foundation laid in 2 Samuel.

4. It Sets Up the New Testament’s Central Claim: Jesus as King

The New Testament doesn’t just present Jesus as the "Son of Man" the Word made Flesh, God incarnate — it presents Him as King, as the following key passages show:

1. Jesus’ Triumphal Entry (John 12:15)

The Gospel of John quotes Zechariah to frame Jesus’ entry into Jerusalem as the arrival of a king: “Fear not, daughter of Zion; behold, your King is coming, seated on a donkey’s colt.” This moment publicly identifies Jesus as the promised Messianic King.

2. The Inscription on the Cross (Matthew 27:37)

During the crucifixion, the charge placed above Jesus reads: “This is Jesus, the King of the Jews.” Even in mockery, the Roman authorities unintentionally affirm His royal identity.

3. Apostolic Preaching (Acts 2:30)

Peter connects Jesus to the Davidic covenant, emphasizing that God promised to seat one of David’s descendants on his throne—fulfilled in Jesus. This frames Jesus’ kingship as the continuation and climax of Israel’s royal line.

4. Jesus as “King of Kings” (1 Timothy 6:15)

Paul describes Jesus as: “the blessed and only Sovereign, the King of kings and Lord of lords.” This title elevates Jesus above all earthly and spiritual rulers.

5. The Son Enthroned (Hebrews 1:8)

The author of Hebrews applies a royal psalm to Jesus: “Your throne, O God, is forever and ever…” This explicitly presents Jesus as a divine king with an eternal reign.

6. The Reigning Warrior-King (Revelation 17:14; 19:15–16)

Revelation portrays Jesus as the victorious king who conquers evil and rules the nations with divine authority. These passages depict the final and universal expression of His kingship.

Thematic Summary

Across the New Testament, Jesus is portrayed as:

• The Davidic Messiah (Acts 2:30)

• The King of Israel (John 12:15; Matthew 27:37)

• The Universal Sovereign (1 Timothy 6:15)

• The Eternal Divine King (Hebrews 1:8; Revelation 19)

However, the New Testament doesn’t just call Jesus “king”—it presents His kingship as the fulfillment of Israel’s hopes, the reality of the church’s present faith, and the climax of God’s future plan.

This only works because 2 Samuel created:

The Davidic line

The expectation of a forever-king

The idea of a kingdom that is both earthly and divine

The hope of a restored throne in Jerusalem

Essentially, the Gospels assume the reader understands this background. Without 2 Samuel, the title “Son of David” would be meaningless.

5. It Gives Israel Its National Identity

Israel’s identity becomes tied to:

David

Jerusalem

The temple

The covenant

The kingdom

All of these are established or defined in 2 Samuel because the King requires a Kingdom.

This is why later biblical writers constantly look back to David’s reign as the “golden age” — not because it was perfect, but because it was the moment when Israel became what God intended it to be.

So, this is the KEY: - THE KING REQUIRES A KINGDOMWith this understanding, Ezekiel 36 and 37 come immediately into focus because they are all about the restoration ISRAEL and the restoration of God's prophetic end-time purposes. As such, they are the only two chapters out of the remaining 4 books with chapters 36 and 37 that have a unified message, that matches and underpins the central message of the Chiastic Structure pointed to by Genesis 1: 1 and arguably the Bible because it is all about Jesus reigning with those who love Him as King of Kings from Jerusalem in the Promised Land of Israel.

If we take a moment to reflect on the implications of this, it's truly remarkable. The very first verse of the Bible, when examined through both numerical patterns and theological themes, appears to direct our attention towards two chapters in Ezekiel. These chapters prophetically highlight the ongoing physical and spiritual restoration of the nation of Israel, unfolding right before our eyes in our own lifetime. As God stated in Isaiah 46:10, He is the one who can declare the end from the beginning:

10 Declaring the end from the beginning, and from ancient times the things that are not yet done, saying, My counsel shall stand, and I will do all my pleasure: Isaiah 46:10

It is just that sometimes it is hidden and we need to be diligent to search it out, as He also states in Proverbs 25:

2 It is the glory of God to conceal a thing: but the honor of kings is to search out a matter. Proverbs 25:2

The Ezekiel Connection established

In Short: The message of 2 Samuel relates to the establishment of the Kingdom of Israel and only Ezekiel 36 and 37 are all about the reestablishment of Israel - so only Ezekiel presents the unified message being emphasized by the hidden Chiastic Structure that was pointed by Genesis 1:1.

Genesis 1:1 - So, Genesis 1:1 is represented by one large Triangle, that is formed from the 73rd Triangular number, that has the value 2701. Numerically this points to 7 verses all with the same value, that in turn form a Chiastic structure that highlights the verse 2 Samuel 1:18. Thematically this verse underscores that at the heart of God's creation, is the establishment of the nation of Israel. Ultimately, Israel will recognize Jesus, their Messiah, as both the root and offspring of David, destined to be the King of Kings who reigns over all the earth.

Ezekiel 36 - The three triangles that comprise the body of the large 73rd Triangle (except for a space in the middle) are formed from the 36th Triangular number that has the value 666 and since there are three of them they total 1998. Together they point to Ezekiel 36, which traces Israel’s dramatic transformation from a land mocked and ravaged by surrounding nations to one restored by God’s own initiative and zeal. The chapter begins with Israel’s mountains lying desolate, its people scattered, and its name scorned among the nations. God explains that Israel’s sin and idolatry brought this devastation, yet He declares that He will restore them not because they deserve it, but to vindicate His holy name, which was profaned in their exile. He promises to bring the people back to their land, cleanse them from their uncleanness and idols, and give them a new heart and a new spirit, even placing His own Spirit within them so they can walk in His ways. As God rebuilds the ruined cities and makes the once‑barren land flourish, it is prophesied to become like the Garden of Eden, a transformation so striking that the nations will recognize that the LORD Himself has done it. The chapter ends with a vision of Israel filled with people like flocks in Jerusalem’s festival days, a sign that God has reversed their shame and restored them in both body and spirit.

Ezekiel 37 - The small Triangle at the center of the Large 73rd Triangle is formed from the 37th Triangular number that has the value of 703. As part of the composition of the large triangle, it carries the same message that relates to the restoration of Israel by pointing to Ezekiel 37 that holds one of the most renown passages in scripture, as it relates to the Israel's rebirth. Essentially, it unfolds in two powerful movements that together reveal God’s plan to revive and reunite His people. First, Ezekiel is set in a valley filled with dry bones—an image of Israel’s utter hopelessness—and God commands him to prophesy life into them. As he speaks, the bones come together, flesh covers them, and finally God breathes His Spirit into them, turning a lifeless graveyard into a living army. This vision symbolizes Israel’s national resurrection: though scattered, cut off, and seemingly beyond restoration, God will open their graves, bring them back to their land, and fill them with His Spirit so they may truly live. The second half of the chapter shifts to the symbolic joining of two sticks—one for Judah and one for Ephraim—into a single piece of wood in Ezekiel’s hand. Through this act, God promises to reunite the divided nation under one king, cleanse them from their idolatry, and establish an everlasting covenant of peace. With His sanctuary set among them forever, Israel will become a restored, unified, Spirit-filled people, and the nations will recognize that the LORD Himself has done it.

So, in this hidden numerical structure, God has prophetically linked the beginning and the end of human history with Jesus, who also stated that He is the beginning and the end, the first and the last:

13 I am -- Alpha and -- Omega, the beginning and the end, the first and the last. Revelation 22:13

Clearly the connection of Ezekiel to Genesis 1 is about God's Plans of Redemption that center on the Restoration of Israel prior to the End-of-Days. However, this begs the question about what else God may be revealing through this Ezekiel Connection and whether it provides any insight into 'where we are' on His End-Time Prophetic Calendar - The following examines all of this.

Ezekiel 's Hidden End-Time Clues

Having hopefully established the validity of this connection between Genesis 1:1 and Ezekiel, for the purposes of highlighting that the Restoration of Israel is a key part of God's end-time plans, we will now look closer to see what else God might be wanting to reveal.

Amazingly there are a number of things that confirm that the book of Ezekiel is central to God's revelation for us as the last generation to live before Jesus' Return, as follows:

Ezekiel is the 26th Book of the Bible

Firstly, it is worth noting that the Book of Ezekiel is the 26th book of the bible so there is a direct numerical connection to the year 2026. Then as also noted in my last article, the current Hebrew Year is 5786 and because we are currently in a special 10-year window of convergence, where the years, including this current year 5786, numerically adds to 26 (5+7+8+6 = 26) making Ezekiel the 26th book of the bible particularly relevant to the current year that we are in, on two different calendars.

That Ezekiel is pointing to this very time in history is clearly very important, but what gives it even greater significance is remembering that 26, as i wrote in my last article, is the value of God's most holy personal name, the Tetragrammaton, that was revealed to Moses and later translated correctly as Jehovah in the KJV Bible (or more accurately as Yehovah because there is actually no letter 'J' in Hebrew). However, many today like to use Yahweh, but either way the connection of the name of God to our current year is part of revealing that this is going to be a year of Sovereignty by God.

Gematria of the Tretragrammaton (YHVH):

Hebrew Letter English Equivalent Letter Name & Meaning Gematria Value
י Y Yod – "Hand" or "Divine Point of Creation" 10
הִ H He – "Window" or "Revelation"; "Breath or Holy Spirit" 5
וֹ V or W Vav - "Nail" or "Connect" 6
הִ H He – "Window" or "Revelation"; "Breath or Holy Spirit" 5
Total 26

The value of Ezekiel's name as a Pointer

So, the fact that Ezekiel is connected to the number 26, that can both be associated with the sovereignty of God and with this current year, is very significant on a number of levels, but it does not end there. Additionally, it also connects us to his name - Ezekiel in Hebrew (יחזקאל) - which as can be seen in the table below, has the value of 156, using standard Hebrew gematria:

Hebrew Letter English Letter Gematria Value
י Y 10
ח Ch 8
ז Z 7
ק Q/K 100
א A 1
ל L 30
Total 156

Mathematically, Ezekiel's name also connects us to this year because 26 is a factor of 156, as follows:

26 x 6 = 156 - given that the multiplier here is 6, which is the number of man, we have here in Ezekiel's name a perfect mathematical connection to him being called the Son of Man, which I will discuss in detail in another section shortly, titled - Ezekiel's Prophetic Clock Marker.

Additionally, 26 is a factor of 78:

26 x 3 = 78 - which is also very significant because it is exactly 78 years this year in 2026 since Israel was reborn in 1948 in fulfilment of Ezekiel chapters 36 and 37 that both prophesied its rebirth both physically and spiritually - remembering that these chapters were pointed to by Triangles that when combined literally represent the value of Genesis 1:1 - declaring the end from the beginning.

78 x 2 = 156 - is also an important factorial combination because the number 2 is always connected with unity / relationship/ and most importantly the 2nd person of the Godhead - the Logos, the Word made Flesh, the Son of God

Understood in this way, the mathematical value of Ezekiel's name with its factors of 78 and 26 literally becomes a predictor of the Return of Jesus to be united with His Bride, His Church forever, which to me is astounding, but again it does not end there because God seemingly through these numbers, connected to Ezekiel, and pointed to by Genesis 1:1, also numerically points to Ezekiel chapter 39 because:

39 x 2 = 78

39 x 4 = 156

However, so that I can deal with this last aspect in the right order, I will first discuss Ezekiel chapter 38.

Ezekiel Chapter 38- possible Rapture Connections

Importantly, Ezekiel includes what many prophecy watchers consider to be the next major event on God's end-time calendar, namely the Gog / Magog War of Ezekiel 38. Furthermore, as I have mentioned in my earlier articles and above, I firmly believe that this war will coincide with the Rapture. It could either serve as the catalyst for the Rapture, or be initiated by it, or even occur simultaneously with it.

As such, I do not believe that there is any coincidence in this war being described in the very next chapter to the chapters 36 and 37 that are pointed to by Genesis 1:1. On this basis, I began to consider whether there would be any additional numerical links that may further validate all of this and I was not disappointed. Given that Ezekiel 36 and Ezekiel 37 were both linked through triangular numbers (36th and 37th), I calculated what the value of the 38th Triangular number would be using the standard formula again—Tn=n(n+1)/2—as follows:

T38 = 38(38+1)/2 = 741

Then using the logic that as T36 and T37 were related to the value of words in Genesis 1:1 and T38 follows T36 and T37, it seemed possible that T38, that has the value of 741, might relate to some words in the verse that follows Genesis 1:1, being Genesis 1:2 that reads as follows:

2 And the earth was without form, and void; and darkness was upon the face of the deep. And the Spirit of God moved upon the face of the waters. Genesis 1:2

Amazingly, on examining the words in these verses, I found the following three that stated: "And the earth was ..." and "... and void" or, as the NIV Bible states -  2Now the earth was ..." and "... and empty", using the word 'empty' instead of 'void' that had the following numerical values:

The values of relevance here, are the ones on the far right, because they are the values that are associated with forms of the words, as they are found in the original language manuscripts. The other values, that are lower, to the left, are those that are associated with the Lemma or Dictionary versions of the Word. Therefore, using the right-hand values for these three words, as found in manuscripts for Genesis 1:2, we have the numerical total value of:

302 + 420 + 19 = 741 - which is the value of the 38th Triangular number, as shown above.

So now we have numerical values for words contained within both Genesis 1:1 and Genesis 1:2 that are the values for four different Triangular numbers - 36th; 37th; 38th and 73rd; that for all the reasons above connect these first two verses in Genesis 1:1 with Ezekiel chapters 36; 37 and 38.

Significantly, if Ezekiel 38 is, as proposed, connected with the Rapture, then the words that it connects to in Genesis 1:2 "and the earth was ... empty" are totally appropriate because the Rapture that involves the catching away of the saints will leave the earth empty of believers. Believers will only start to appear again once the ministry of the two witnesses and the 144,000 from the tribes of Israel begin, in the first half of the Tribulation.

The odds of all this happening by chance are incalculable, but it does not stop there. When one examines the numbers that appear when calculating the value of the 37th Triangular number, which aligns with our current position prophetically, as we watch the restoration of Israel, as prophesied in Ezekiel chapter 37 (about the dry bones) and await for the Rapture, something intriguing occurs, as follows:

Starting with the formula:

Tn = n (n +1) / 2

and then adding the numbers for the 37th Triangular number we get:

T37 = 37 (37 + 1) / 2

and then processing this we get:

T37 = 37 (38) / 2

continuing to process this we get:

T37 = 1406 / 2

I will stop here, before reaching the final operation, that results in T37 = 703, as I wish to emphasize the significance of the number 1406 that appears while calculating this Triangular number, that points to Ezekiel 37. As this chapter relates to the restoration of Israel, which began in earnest in 1948, and continues to unfold today, it may also represent some of the last major prophetic events leading up to the Rapture, that is arguably linked to the next chapter, in Ezekiel 38. As such, the fact that the number 1406 appears in connection with the numerical representation of chapter 37 is fascinating, as I will now show.

To provide some prophetic time-line context, many scholars agree that Solomon began building the Temple in 966 BC, in his 4th year. Scripture states in 1 Kings 6:1 that this was exactly 480 years after the Exodus:

1 In the four hundred and eightieth year after the Israelites came out of Egypt, in the fourth year of Solomon’s reign over Israel, in the month of Ziv, the second month, he began to build the temple of the LORD. 1 Kings 6:1

Some basic math's tells us that the Exodus occurred in 1446 BC (966 + 480 = 1446) and allowing for the 40 years in the wilderness, the entry into the Promised Land would have occurred in 1406 BC.  As the people who trusted God were the ones being taken into the Promised Land by Joshua, who was a type of Jesus, this acts as a foreshadow of the Rapture, where those who trust in God will be taken into the greater Promised Land of Heaven by Jesus Himself. So having the numbers 1406 appear in connection with possibly both events is either just another massive coincidence, or it is exactly what God intended, having his numbers confirm His intent.

For those uncertain about the starting date, that this hinges upon, it is interesting to note, as I have shown before, that another confirmation was found archaeologically. To see more information on this, I recommend that you access the work of Joel P. Kramer, who wrote the #1 best-selling Archaeology Book in Amazon Books, called “Where God Came Down – The Archaeological Evidence”. He has also produced an excellent video titled “How we KNOW the dates for the Old Testament!” explaining how all of this was determined – click on the following link to watch it on Youtube: https://youtu.be/3DJtVlLRMGw?si=SWNo3Xjj84crtqg5

It's also essential to recognize the significance of Joshua's name in its historical context. Originally, he was called Hosea (or Hoshea), which means "Salvation", or He Saves" without saying who saves. So, Moses changed his name to Yehoshua (Joshua) to highlight that it was God's salvation, or more accurately Yehovah's salvation that was meant for the Israelites, not just salvation by any means. This name change is meaningful, as it symbolizes the covenantal relationship between God and the Israelites, linking Joshua's leadership to the promise of divine deliverance. The alteration of his name is referenced in Numbers 13:16, where Moses sends spies to scout the land of Canaan, and Joshua is identified with his original name. Thus, Yehoshua (יְהוֹשׁוּעַ) is the full name of Joshua, who is also referred to as Jeshua (ישֵׁוּעַ) or Yeshua in Nehemiah 8—the exact name of Jesus in Hebrew:

17 And all the congregation of them that were come again out of the captivity made booths, and sat under the booths: for since the days of Jeshua the son of Nun unto that day had not the children of Israel done so. And there was very great gladness. Nehemiah 8:17

Moreover, when we examine the connections between this number and a Rapture event, we see that the year 2025 may have represented a pivotal moment when God was finalizing His promises. This could have been to set the stage for the year 2026, when God may begin to fulfill His end-time agenda. In this context, it is notable that the span of time from 1406 BC to 2025 is exactly 490 times 7 years. This is the symbolic 490 years of Daniel that represents the 'end of the Age', as shown in Daniel 9:24, multiplied by God's number 7 that represents perfect completion:

24 Seventy weeks are determined upon thy people and upon thy holy city, to finish the transgression, and to make an end of sins, and to make reconciliation for iniquity, and to bring in everlasting righteousness, and to seal up the vision and prophecy, and to anoint the most Holy. Daniel 9:24

Ezekiel Chapter 39 and the Second Coming of Jesus

So now we will consider the connection between Ezekiel's name that carries the value of 156 that can also be understood as 78 x 2 or 39 x 4 to determine if there is also a connection to Ezekiel Chapter 39.

Firstly, I need to say that while many connect the two Chapters of Ezekiel 38 and 39 together, thinking that that they are both describing one war - the War of Gog and Magog - this is not what a careful reading of the two chapters shows. I have touched on this briefly in another article here, but essentially all scholars agree that Ezekiel 38 and the Rapture are now both imminent, which makes them pre-tribulational events and clearly Ezekiel 39 talks about the burning of weapons for 7 years by those living in the cities of the Land of Israel, which can only occur after Israel is restored to the Land after the Tribulation, as part of the first 7 years of the Millenium, because the remnant of Israel that survives the great Tribulation, only does so by fleeing in the middle of the Tribulation possibly to Petra, where God will protect them for 3.5 years, as described in the book of Revelation 12:

13 And when the dragon saw that he was cast unto the earth, he persecuted the woman which brought forth the man child. 14 And to the woman were given two wings of a great eagle, that she might fly into the wilderness, into her place, where she is nourished for a time, and times, and half a time, from the face of the serpent. Revelation 12:13-14

and that was predicted by Jesus in Matthew 24:

15 When ye therefore shall see the abomination of desolation, spoken of by Daniel the prophet, stand in the holy place, (whoso readeth, let him understand:) 16 Then let them which be in Judea flee into the mountains: 17Let him which is on the housetop not come down to take any thing out of his house: 18 -- Neither let him which is in the field return back to take his clothes. 19 And woe unto them that are with child, and to them that give suck in those days! 20 But pray ye that your flight be not in the winter, neither on the sabbath day:21For then shall be great tribulation, such as was not since the beginning of the world to this time, no, nor ever shall be.22And except those days should be shortened, there should no flesh be saved: but for the elect’s sake those days shall be shortened. Matthew 24:15-22

Additionally, Ezekiel 39 describes a feast for the birds that biblically is only matched by the description of the feast that occurs in relation to Armageddon at the end of the Tribulation, as the following passages reveal:

17 And, thou son of man, thus saith the Lord GOD; Speak unto every feathered fowl, and to every beast of the field, Assemble yourselves, and come; gather yourselves on every side to my sacrifice that I do sacrifice for you, even a great sacrifice upon the mountains of Israel, that ye may eat flesh, and drink blood. 18 Ye shall eat the flesh of the mighty, and drink the blood of the princes of the earth, of rams, of lambs, and of goats, of bullocks, all of them fatlings of Bashan. 19 And ye shall eat fat till ye be full, and drink blood till ye be drunken, of my sacrifice which I have sacrificed for you. 20 Thus ye shall be filled at my table with horses and chariots, with mighty men, and with all men of war, saith the Lord GOD. Ezekiel 39:17-20

And

17 And I saw an angel standing in the sun; and he cried with a loud voice, saying to all the fowls that fly in the midst of heaven, Come and gather yourselves together unto the supper of the great God;
18 That ye may eat the flesh of kings, and the flesh of captains, and the flesh of mighty men, and the flesh of horses, and of them that sit on them, and the flesh of all men, both free and bond, both small and great. Revelation 19:17-18

With that said, I will now approach Ezekiel 39 in the same way as I did for Ezekiel 38, by firstly calculating its triangular number to determine if numerically there could be any connection to the words in Genesis 2:2, as there was for Ezekiel 38. Using the standard formula again—Tn=n(n+1)/2—as follows:

T39 = 39(40+1)/2 = 780

Again, using the same logic as above, that since T36 and T37 were related to the value of words in Genesis 1:1 and T38 that followed T36 and T37 had words that numerically matched words in the verse that follows, being Genesis 1:2, then similarly T39 that has the numerical value of 780 and that follows T36; T37; and T38 might also relate to some words in Genesis 1:2 that again reads as follows:

2 And the earth was without form, and void; and darkness was upon the face of the deep. And the Spirit of God moved upon the face of the waters. Genesis 1:2

On examining the words in these verses, this is exactly what I found with the following three that stated: "... was" and "... of God" and "... of the waters" that had the following numerical values:

So, the three values are:

420 + 220 + 140 = 780 - which are the value of the 39th Triangular Number

Amazingly, the context of these words in Genesis 2:2 completely aligns with the idea of them being associated with Ezekiel 39, which is arguably the Battle of Armageddon that is staged by the nations of the world and sees Jesus come back in Judgement to end it.

In Genesis 1 we see the waters as being the staging area for the earth and the nations that will populate it. Initially, in the creation week, God is separating the waters from the earth, so that it can be populated with his image bearers and other living creatures, but only 6 chapters later, we see the waters come back together in the greatest judgement of God in the history of mankind - to date. The wickedness of man that resulted in 'every thought and intent of the heart being only evil continually' left God little choice, and so the waters of creation became the waters of destruction and judgement.

In this way, the three words pointed to in Genesis 1:2 by the numerical value of the 39th Triangular Number, that is also associated with Ezekiel 39 (and that is also connected numerically to the value of his name - 39 x 4 = 156) form the small sentence "was of God and of the waters" seem to function in a similar role. In context, they are pointing to a judgement of the Sovereign God (whose name is also connected in value to Ezekiel's name) upon the nations, whose wickedness sees them gather together to fight against God:

19 And I saw the beast, and the kings of the earth, and their armies, gathered together to make war against him that sat on the horse, and against his army. Revelation 19:19

Interestingly, in Hebrew, the language has three levels, the grammatical meaning of the text itself; and the numerical value that we have be examining; as well as the third level that involves an original pictographic meaning for each letter. These pictographs were actually found archaeologically in relation to the Exodus, being carved on large rocks along the route of their journey. Significantly, the Letter Mayim - מ, that is transliterated as the letter M in English, is the first letter of the word Waters (מַיִם also pronounced as mayim in hebrew). Pictographically, it represented two meanings - it could either represent the 'blessings of God', as seen in it being associated with "Living Waters" (that represent the Holy Spirit); or it could be the "waters of Chaos" that represent the Judgement of God, such as in Noah's Flood.

This duality of meaning is also reflected in its the letters actual value of 40, that biblically represents a time of trial and testing that can either result in someone going deeper with God, as Jesus did when after His baptism He spent 40 days and nights in the wilderness, or as a judgement, such as those Israelites who had failed to trust that God would give them the Promised Land, after that came out of Egypt, and ended up wandering in the Wilderness for 40 years until they all died out; or in Noah's day when the it rained for 40 days and nights in the Flood that killed all except for 8 people, who were protected in the Ark, that was a picture of Jesus' salvation.

What is particularly interesting about the value of Ezekiel's name being 156, as discussed at the start of this section, is that not only is this number equivalent to 78 x 2, which connects us to the 78 years since 1948 when Israel was reborn as a nation again; it is also 39 x 4, which connects us to Ezekiel chapter 39's judgement upon the world (4). Then, through the mathematical triangular number process, the 39th Triangular number also points us to the same numbers, having the value of 780, that are actually a second connection to Ezekiel and his name, not arrived at by calculating the value of the letters in his name, but by mathematically considering the Triangular number value of the chapter that his name points to.

Essentially, it is a separate, but related calculation, that sees 780, the value of the 39th Triangular number being equal to 156 (Ezekiel' name) x 5 (Grace), with the multiplier of 5 emphasizing that this is all by the Grace of God:

156 x 5 = 780

Ezekiel's Prophetic Clock Marker

Finally, there is a unique characteristic about Ezekiel that often goes unnoticed in that while most of the prophets have their names mentioned throughout their own self-titled books multiple times, as well as appearing in other books, Ezekiel is only mentioned twice in the whole bible. This again makes the book of Ezekiel incredibly unique and flags to the reader that something else is going on here.

In this respect, it is notable that in place of his name, Ezekiel is repeatedly referred to as "Son of Man", which was actually Jesus' favorite title for Himself in the Gospels. So, what could be going on here. A quick search shows that while there are 196 references to "Son of Man" in the whole bible, actually 93 occur in the book of Ezekiel. So here we are, we will now discuss the significance of this number 93, that as I showed earlier in this article, is literally the sum of the book numbers, counting from Genesis, that relate to the books in the references of the 7 verses, that all have the value 2701.

As will be seen, it is a particularly interesting number because it reveals something quite significant about the end-times, that is relevant to our discussion; but to understand it, we need to look at two bible references because the number 93 does not appear directly in scripture, rather it is something that scripture points to indirectly when one compares scripture. The two references involve one that we have already discussed above in relation to Solomon building the Temple, being 1 Kings 6:1, where it is stated that it was exactly 480 years from the Exodus until the 4th year of Solomon, when he began to build the Temple:

1 And it came to pass in the four hundred -- and eightieth year after the children of Israel were come out of the land of Egypt, in the fourth year of Solomon’s reign over Israel, in the month Zif, which is the second month, that he began to build the house of the LORD. 1 Kings 6:1

The other is in Acts 13, that speaks about the time period from the Exodus to the time that King David was raised up:

6 Then Paul stood up, and beckoning with his hand said, Men of Israel, and ye that fear God, give audience. 17 The God of this people of Israel chose our fathers, and exalted the people when they dwelt as strangers in the land of Egypt, and with a high arm brought he them out of it.
18 And about the time of forty years suffered he their manners in the wilderness. 19 And when he had destroyed seven nations in the land of Canaan, he divided their land to them by lot. 20 And after that he gave unto them judges about the space of four hundred and fifty years, until Samuel the prophet. 21 And afterward they desired a king: and God gave unto them Saul the son of Kish, a man of the tribe of Benjamin, by the space of forty years. 22 And when he had removed him, he raised up unto them David to be their king; to whom also he gave testimony, and said, I have found David the son of Jesse, a man after mine own heart, which shall fulfil all my will. Acts 13:16-22

Here, it states that this time period starting at the Exodus was 40 years in the wilderness + 450 years under Judges + 40 years under King Saul, until David was raised up. This totals to 530 years, so if you then add the additional 40 years that occurred under David when he was King and the 3 full years under Solomon, which takes you to the beginning of his 4th year, when he began to build the Temple, you actually get a total of 573 years, that is exactly a difference of 93 (573 - 480) years, to what is recorded in the book of 1Kings.

So why the difference for exactly the same time period. An examination of the book of Judges reveals a solution. Essentially, every time Israel had turned their back on God and fallen into Sin, as a nation, God gave them over to foreign rulers and nations. Notably, this occurred 5 times be between the Exodus and Solomon's reign, as follows:

8 years under Cushan-Rishathaim, the king of Mesopotamia - Judges 3:8

18 years under Eglon, the king of Moab Judges 3:14

20 years under Jabin, the king of Canaan Judges 4:2,3

7 years under the Midianites Judges 6:1

40 years under the Philistines Judges 13:1

This totals 93 years, which are apparently not reckoned in the period stated in 1 Kings 6:1. While there was an additional oppression listed in Judges 10:8, this was primarily against the Israelites that lived on the other-side of the Jordan in the land of the Amorites, it was not directly against those living in the Promised Land, so allowing for this, we find that the missing 93 years listed in the references from the book of Judges are the precise number of years to make up the difference with the 480 years stated in 1 Kings 6:1 and the 573 calculated from both Acts 13 and 1 Kings.

So rather than this being an inaccuracy in the bible, the difference can be accounted for by understanding that God’s Prophetic Clock actually stops each time Israel, as a nation, is spiritually out of fellowship with God. This then explains why Daniel's 490 years stopped at the 483-year mark, when Jesus was crucified. Essentially, the end time prophetic clock will not begin again until the Rapture occurs and the Tribulation begins, when the 'times of the Gentiles' is over and God begins to deal again with His people - ISRAEL (in the Time of Jacob's Trouble, as it is called in the book of Jeremiah 30:7 - (noting God's personal numbers appear again with a Key event).

In this respect, since we have this symbolic occurrence of 93 in connection with Ezekiel, it strongly seems to be suggesting that in connection with the prophetic events outlined in Ezekiel that include the restoration of Israel (in chapters 36 and 37) and the coming Ezekiel 38 war (chapter 38) that will be followed approximately 7 years later with the Ezekiel 39 war of Armageddon, that sees Jesus come back in the Second Coming, we are about to see the prophetic clock be 'turned back on', just as God did after the book of Judges.

Ultimately, all of this lends a lot of support to the idea that events surrounding the Ezekiel 38 and Ezekiel 39 are almost upon us. Essentially, these two chapters and the two wars that they represent, are like book ends of the Tribulation, that will start with the Rapture and end with the Second Coming of Jesus.

In Summary

Finally, in summary, we have beginning with Genesis 1:1 a numerical value of the words in its original Hebrew equating to 2,701. Not only is this a product of two numbers 37 and 73 that represent the very nature of God, who is 3 persons with a 7 fold Spiritual nature - 37 x 73 = 2701, but as shown in my last article, this number correlates to the atomic weight of the 20 Amino Acids that create the proteins that form every cell in the human body - God's image bearers.

Using information that was found on Peter Bluer's web site http://Biblemaths.com it was shown that the atomic weight of the Amino Acids when arranged into a 5 x 5 table actually totaled 2738, which in a stunning reflection of God who created us, is 37 x 73 + 37 - see also further information here.

In seeing the significance of the numerical value of the first verse of the bible, we then found that there were only 7 verses in the Bible that had exactly the same value, being:

• Genesis 1:1

• Genesis 8:14

Leviticus 20:27

• 2 Samuel 1:18

• 1 Kings 8:15

• Micah 6:9

Nahum 2:20

An examination of these verses showed that each related to a transitional point in God's Redemptive History of Mankind, and as such their individual themes formed a Prophetic Arc that mirrored the overarching narrative of the bible, by weaving together themes of:

creation, covenant, judgment, restoration, Messiah, and new creation.

A closer examination of these verses further revealed that they form a literary structure known as a Chiasm. In this structure, the first and last verses mirror each other's meanings, as do the second and second-to-last verses; the same pattern continues with the third verse and the third-to-last verse, and so on. This mirroring leads to a pivotal verse at the center that is highlighted for emphasis. The Bible makes extensive use of these structures to convey significant points. In this instance, the central reference, found in 2 Samuel 1:18, underscores the establishment of the Throne of David. This throne is prophesied to endure forever, with Jesus reigning upon it as the King of Kings and Lord of Lords, from a new Jerusalem on a new earth, as detailed in the book of Revelation.

By revealing that Genesis 1:1, through its hidden mathematics, ultimately points to the narrative of Redemption centered on Jesus sitting on the throne of David, we gain a deeper understanding of the necessity for a King to have a Kingdom. This leads us to realize that Genesis 1:1, along with its associated verses, actually emphasize the establishment and historical restoration of Israel as a nation.

This insight is further illustrated by delving into the mathematics of Genesis 1:1. Beyond its overall value of 2701, we find that this total is comprised of 1998 from the first five words of this seven-word verse, and 703 from the last two words. Notably, 1998 can be expressed as 666 multiplied by 3. Thus, the total value of Genesis 1:1 (2701) can be broken down into Triangular Numbers, with:

 - The 36th Triangular number = 666

- The 37th Triangular number = 703

By combining three instances of the 36th Triangular number (for a total of 1998) with one instance of the 37thTriangular number (703), we create four Triangles that together form one large 73rd Triangular Number, which equals the total of 2701:

666 + 666 + 666 + 703 = 2701

See below for illustration of this:

Numerical Representation of Genesis 1:1

36th Triangular Number = 666

37th Triangular Number = 703

3x 666 = 1998

1 x 703 =703

Total 1998 + 703 = 2701 = Genesis 1:1

36th Triangle points to Ezekiel 36

37th Triangle points to Ezekiel 37

Ezekiel 36 and 37 are both about the Restoration of the Nation of ISRAEL - its people and the Land.

Earlier in this article, we demonstrated that passages linked by numerical patterns can also reveal thematic connections, illuminating aspects of God’s Redemptive plans, that often elude casual readers of scripture.

To further explore this, we examined various books of the Bible to identify those with a chapter 36 and 37 that could be linked to the Triangular numbers derived from Genesis 1:1. We discovered seven such books. Next, we analyzed which of these texts reinforced our central theme, which focuses on the establishment and historical restoration of Israel as a nation—a foundation for Jesus to reign as King of Kings after redeeming humanity. This rigorous examination ultimately led us to exclude six of the seven books, highlighting Ezekiel as the sole valid option.

This journey also led us to explore chapters 38 and 39 of Ezekiel, because they sequentially follow the prophetic themes established in chapters 36 and 37, which discuss the restoration of Israel—a significant event we've witnessed since 1948. Many prophecy enthusiasts are now focusing on the Gog / Magog war, often referred to as the Ezekiel 38 war, as it is outlined in Ezekiel chapter 38, and they believe its occurrence is imminent.

To investigate a potential mathematical connection to Genesis 1, akin to what we found with chapters 36 and 37, we calculated the triangular number for 38, which yielded a result of 741. Having established this value, we applied the reasoning that since chapter 38 follows chapters 36 and 37, any relevant connections might also be present in Genesis 1:2—the verse immediately following Genesis 1:1, which had pointed us to chapters 36 and 37. Consequently, we conducted a thorough examination of Genesis 1:2.

Amazingly three words totaling the numerical value of 741 were found. The odds of this happening by chance would be so astronomical that it would seem absurd not to see this as being part of God's numerical revelation to us about the end times. So, I continued to put these words into context. Essentially, they form a concise statement: "and the earth was empty". Since, as stated in the Introduction, the central idea of this article was to examine if there was a mathematical pathway from Genesis 1:1 to Ezekiel that would confirm the Rapture. This is precisely what I believe we have uncovered here because Genesis 1:2 has now been shown to connect to Ezekiel 38, which is all about the Gog / Magog War—an event I also believe will be associated with the Rapture (either as a catalyst or a consequence). Then this war, that is poised to be the next major multinational conflict involving Israel, when it does occur, will see all of God's people who are trusting in Him be snatched away, "and the earth will be empty" of believers, just as the words in Genesis 1:2 that are connected to Ezekiel 38 state.

Following on from this, we then investigated to see if we could find a link to the next chapter in Ezekiel chapter 39, and we were not disappointed. Calculating the 39th Triangular number it was found to be 780 and again, quite incredibly, we found that it also correlated numerically to three words in Genesis 1:2, just as Ezekiel 38 had, forming the statement "was of God, of the waters", indicating that the event it linked to would involve God sovereignly bringing a judgement, that was symbolized by the waters that can represent chaos. Given that Ezekiel 39 is arguable an account of the Battle of Armageddon, this saw the all the words linked to in Genesis 1:2 with Ezekiel chapters 38 and 39, as being associated with the books ends of the Tribulation, that will start with the Rapture and end with the Battle of Armageddon, that involves Jesus returning in the Second Coming to fight all those opposed to Him, prior to the start of the Millenium.

I found all this stunning because to me it confirms that we are on the precipice of seeing all this occur because we are literally in a prophetic sense between chapters 37 and 38 of Ezekiel, which as I showed above is interesting because numerically 37 x 38  = 1406 and 1406 BC is academically a popular date / number that is associated with God's people (Israel) going into the Promised Land. So, God seems to be telling us that the Rapture which is about God's people (spiritual Israel) going into the greater Promised Land of Heaven, is imminent. And to the degree that 1406 + 3430 (490 x7 - Gods symbolic numbers for the end) = 2025, it would seem that we are literally at the end and 2026 is a sovereign time of God ensuring the last of the Bride of Christ comes to Him.

God's Sovereignty; Iran and 47

Clearly, God's sovereignty is on display in 2026 with the Iranian Regime, the central enemy of Israel for the last 47 years being decimated. As I showed in my last article, that you can read here, 47 is a significant number aligned with the promises of God that are seen just at the point that the people are to enter their Promised Land. In this regard, Scripture showed that the Exodus happened exactly 430 years to the day that Abraham was given the covenant promises of God:

40 Now the sojourn of the children of Israel who lived in Egypt was four hundred and thirty years. 41 And it came to pass at the end of the four hundred and thirty years—on that very same day—it came to pass that all the armies of the LORD went out from the land of Egypt. Exodus 12:40-41

and

17 And this I say, that the law, which was four hundred and thirty years later, cannot annul the covenant that was confirmed before by God Galatians 3:17

Then if you add the 40 years of the 'wilderness wandering' you see that Israel was standing on the edge of the Jordan River, ready to enter the Promised Land exactly 430+ 40 - 470 (47 x 10) years after it was promised to Abraham.

Then in modern times, you see Israel given the promise of their rebirth, when the United Nations voted in support of creating a modern state in the 47th year of the 20st century - 1947.

So the current events that are happening with Iran 47 years after the Iranian Revolution of 1979, that created the regime that became Israel's greatest enemy in modern times, constantly shouting "Death to Israel" and "Death to America" and arming and training all of its proxies in Hebollah in Lebanon, Hamas in Gaza; Hutis in Yemen; Islamic Jihadis in Iraq and Syria etc., these appear to be a flag of the Sovereign God that Israel as a nation are about to enter a new phase of their journey with Him. Additionally, spiritual Israel, the body of their Messiah - the Body of Christ, could be about to enter their greater Promised Land in Heaven, when Jesus, as He states in John 14: 1-3, will come to gather us unto Himself in the Rapture:

1 “Let not your heart be troubled; you believe in God, believe also in Me. 2 In My Father’s house are many mansions; if it were not so, I would have told you. I go to prepare a place for you. 3 And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come again and receive you to Myself; that where I am, there you may be also." John 14:1-3

In considering God's Sovereignty, particularly as it relates to Iran and the recent events, the following video by Jonathan Cahn is quite fascinating because it not only makes the Purim connection that many have already made, but he delves into some other aspects, such as showing that even the Torah Reading on February 28th 2026 directly addressed what took place.

In relation to the Torah Portion that is read each week, it has been fixed for centuries and so there is no way to manipulate it, but as the following shows God is clearly sovereign over it because the Reading for the 28th of February when the Ayatollah Ali Khamenei was being killed was:  Parashat Tetzaveh 5786 /  פָּרָשַׁת תְּצַוֶּה

As the following image shows:

Now when one remembers that Haman, who was the high-ranking Persian official in ancient Iran, who became the architect of a genocidal plot against the Jews, was an Agagite, a descendant of Amalek, you see something quite amazing. As Jonathan Cahn says, Amalek was the first one to attack the Israelites when they came out of Egypt in the Exodus and at the conclusion of the battle God said to Moses:

14 Then the LORD said to Moses, “Write this for a memorial in the book and recount it in the hearing of Joshua, that I will utterly blot out the remembrance of Amalek from under heaven.15 And Moses built an altar and called its name, The-LORD-Is-My-Banner; 16 for he said, “Because the LORD has sworn: the LORD will have war with Amalek from generation to generation.” Exodus 17:14-16

So, there was a perpetual war to be raged against Amalek. Jonathan Cahn explains how this war had come down to our time, to involve Donald Trump; Benjamin Netanyahu; and Iran. Essentially, in a later war with the Amalekites, King Saul of Israel had spared the King of the Amalekites - King Agag. Though Samuel later has Agag killed, his seed survives and many centuries later Haman, one of his descendants, is born. Due to his high position in the court of King Ahasuerus, the King of Persia, Haman manages to convince the King to issue an irrevocable decree to have all of the Jewish people annihilated. Fortunately, before the date of decree is past, Esther a young beautiful Jewish woman becomes Queen and is able to convince the King to issue another decree that allows the Jews to fight back and to defend themselves. They do and ultimately Haman and his 10 sons are all killed - this victory that saved the Jews is celebrated every year as Purim.

Fast forward to 2026 and Ali Khamenei who was essentially a modern Persian (Iranian) counterpart of Haman, because he also wanted to kill all of the Jews and had managed to kill thousands during his lifetime, was killed in a joint operation by Israel and the United States on the very weekend that ushered in the Feast of Purim this year.

Amazingly the Torah Portion  Parashat Tetzaveh that was being read by Jews on the Sabbath, the very day that  Ali Khamenei, Haman's modern Persian equivalent, was being killed (as shown in the image above), it stated the following in the very LAST VERSE of the Torah Readings, that included Exodus 27:20 - 30:10 and Deuteronomy 25:17 -19:

17Remember what Amalek did to you on the way as you were coming out of Egypt, 18 how he met you on the way and attacked your rear ranks, all the stragglers at your rear, when you were tired and weary; and he did not fear God. 19 Therefore it shall be, when the LORD your God has given you rest from your enemies all around, in the land which the LORD your God is giving you to possess as an inheritance, that you will blot out the remembrance of Amalek from under heaven. You shall not forget. Deuteronomy 25:17-19

This is exactly what was happening on that day, Feburary 28th 2026 - the remembrance of Amalek was being blotted out - and clearly only God could have orchestrated this, through the two world leaders below, in President Donald Trump and Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu.

One further Video (see below), that I would like to share in relation to God's Sovereignty and Purim, involves a fascinating hidden code found in the original Hebrew text, which has been transcribed into modern Bibles. This code features larger and smaller Hebrew letters that the original scribes sometimes included in their manuscripts. While many modern printings overlook these ancient details, some do preserve them. It may take some effort to locate a text that accurately reflects the original Hebrew script, but it's well worth the search. The revelations shared in the following video are nothing short of astounding—I was truly amazed when I first encountered them. Prepare to have your mind blown; when you see it and reflect on its implications, you'll be left in awe of God's incredible design.

The idea of 2026 being sovereignly set aside for God is also confirmed, as I showed in a previous article, by a number of titles / names of God being connected to 26 (value of Tetragrammaton) and the Hebrew year 5786 as follows:

Summary of God's Titles / Name:

YHVH - 26 (value)

EL - 31 (value); 240 (occurrences)

ELOAH - 42 (value); 57 (occurrences)

ELOHIM- 86 (value); 2600 (occurrences)

So, occurrences of Eloah (57) and value of Elohim (86) equate to current Hebrew Year 5786 - ends in Sept 2026.

God's personal name YHVH = 26, so points to 2026.

Elohim also has 2600 occurrence in the KJV, which again points to 2026.

God's personal name YHVH (26) and El (31) = 57 and Elohim (86) again equate to current Hebrew year 5786.

Interplay of Numbers

26 (YHVH) + 31 (EL) = 57 (same as the occurrences of ELOAH)

26 (YHVH) + 42 (ELOAH) = 68 (mirror of 86 the gematria value for ELOHIM)

31 (EL) + 42 (ELOAH) = 73 (mirror of God's personal seal 37), noting Gen 1:1 = 73 x 37 = 2701 and Jesus (37 x 24) Christ (37 x 40).

42 (ELOAH Value) + 57 (Eloah occurrence) = 99 (symbolic of those God has Redeemed)

Importantly, I believe God is stating that the events of Ezekiel are about to all play-out because there are several aspects connected to Ezekiel that appear related to our current year of 2026 as follows:

• Ezekiel is the 26th book of the bible, so has a numerical link to 2026

• Ezekiel's name has the value of 156 and this breaks down numerically as:

78 x 2 = 156 - In 2026 it is 78 years since Israel was reborn and Jesus the 2nd person of the Godhead could be coming to gather His Bride in the Rapture. Notably this 78 appears again in connection with the number 39, being 39 x 2 and then the Triangular number of 39 is 780. The fact that we showed that this number links 3 words in Genesis 1:2 to Ezekiel 39 which is a judgement of God and 10 is symbolic of the Law which makes 78 x 10 = 780 a fulfilment of the judgement that comes upon the world in Ezekiel 39 - being Armageddon, that many have also associated with a nuclear war, from verses such as:

14 And they shall sever out men of continual employment, passing through the land to bury -- with the passengers -- those that remain upon the face of the earth, to cleanse it: after the end of seven months shall they search. 15 And the passengers that pass through the land, when any seeth a man’s bone, then shall he set up a sign by it, till the buriers have buried -- it in the valley of Hamon-gog.16 And also the name of the city shall be Hamonah. Thus shall they cleanse the land. Ezekiel 39:14-16

and

12 And this shall be the plague wherewith the LORD will smite -- all the people that have fought against Jerusalem; Their flesh shall consume away while they stand upon their feet, and their eyes shall consume away in their holes, and their tongue shall consume away in their mouth. Zechariah 14:12

39 x 4 = 156 - Also as I showed in a previous article (see here for more info) God has worked in patterns or timespans that are multiples of 39, that include the time span from Adam to Christ being 3900 years, as follows (starting from the previously supported date of 1406 BC for the entry to the promised Land):

1406 BC + 40 Wilderness Wandering = 1446 BC - Exodus

1446 BC + 430 year from the promises given to Abraham = 1876 BC - when Abraham was called at 75 and given Covenant promises

1876 BC + 75 years from the birth of Abraham = 1951 BC - Birth of Abraham

1951 BC + 1948 years, as recorded in genealogies from Adam to Abraham, in Genesis = 3899 years

3899 years + 1 year = 3900 years - after adjusting for no year 0

So, 3900 years from Adam to Christ - noting there are multiple verified ways to calculate this that all come out the same way. Additionally, 1876 BC (Abraham called and given promises) + 3900 years = 2024 + 1 (adjusting again for no year 0) = 2025.

So, 3900 years from calling of Abraham and Covenant Promises to 2025. Therefore, in the same way that 490 x7 added to 1406 ended in 2025, we have another exact period starting with the Father of our Faith that ends in 2025, suggested again that 2025 was a completion of time and that 2026 is going to be a sovereign time of God.

• Ezekiel also involves 93 uses of the title "Son of Man" that is very special in the New Testament because it is the favorite title of Jesus that not only He is fully divine, but fully human, and as such as, fulfilled the prophecy in Genesis 3:15 that He as the 'Seed of the Woman' would crush the Head of the Serpent / Satan. Importantly, 93 is also shown in the bible to be the number associated with God stopping His prophetic clock, that is tracking the 490 years of Daniels 70 Week Prophecy. Since it has been stopped at 483 years since Jesus was crucified in AD 32, its use in Ezekiel, along with all the other markers, suggests that God is about to turn the Prophetic Clock on again. This will take us into the events of Ezekiel 38 and Ezekiel 39 that involve:

the RaptureTribulationBattle of Armageddon / Second Coming.

The 7 verses hidden connection to Salvation

Before I conclude with some final thoughts, I also want to add one more absolutely stunning numerical connection between the 7 verses that all have a total value of 2701, that reveal so much about God and His purposes. Notably above, I revealed how if you number the books of the bible, that each of these verses is found in, and then add the resultant numbers, you get the number 93 that acts as God's Prophetic Clock Marker, revealing both when God stops and starts His Prophetic Clock.

However, these verses not only reveal that, but they also numerically confirm why God stops His Prophetic Clock. To see this, we just need to take every number that appears in the verses below and add them as follows:

Verses Numbers that comprise each of the Verse references
Genesis 1:1 1, 1
Genesis 8:14 8,14
Leviticus 20:27 20,27
2 Samuel 1:18 2,1,18
1 Kings 8:15 1,8,15
Micah 6:9 6,9
Nahum 2:20 2,20
Total 1 + 1 + 8 + 14 + 20 + 27 + 2 + 1 + 18 + 1 + 8 + 15 + 6 + 9 + 2 +20 = 153

Here, hidden in the 7 verses that ultimately are pointed to by Genesis 1:1, the very first appearance of the Triangular Structure that reveals God's plan of Redemption and that points to the book of Ezekiel due to its unified theme centered on Israel, that is at the Heart of God's Redemptive Story, we now see from the numbers involved with these verses that we have the 17th triangular number, that we have spoken about briefly above, that has the value of  153.

As I said in a previous article (see more info here), the significance of this is that God uses the Triangular number 17 in connection with the Resurrection Day (17thNisan) of Jesus Christ, the Saviour of the World, and the number 153 (which is the result of the 17th Triangular number) is seen as a symbolic representation of the Salvation that will follow because of His Resurrection. It can be seen in John 21:4-14:

4 But when the morning was now come, Jesus stood on the shore: but the disciples knew not that it was Jesus. 5 Then Jesus saith unto them, Children, have ye any meat? They answered him, No. 6 And he said unto them, Cast the net on the right side of the ship, and ye shall find. They cast therefore, and now they were not able to draw it for the multitude of fishes. 7 Therefore that disciple whom Jesus loved saith unto Peter, It is the Lord. Now when Simon Peter heard that it was the Lord, he girt his fisher’s coat unto him, (for he was naked,) and did cast himself into the sea. 8 And the other disciples came in a little ship; (for they were not far from land, but as it were two hundred cubits,) dragging the net with fishes. 9 As soon then as they were come to land, they saw a fire of coals there, and fish laid thereon, and bread. 10 Jesus saith unto them, Bring of the fish which ye have now caught. 11 Simon Peter went up, and drew the net to land full of great fishes, a hundred and fifty and three: and for all there were so many, yet was not the net broken. 12 Jesus saith unto them, Come and dine. And none of the disciples durst ask him, Who art thou? knowing that it was the Lord. 13 Jesus then cometh, and taketh bread, and giveth them, and fish likewise. 14 This is now the third time that Jesus showed himself to his disciples, after that he was risen from the dead. John 21:4-14

Contextually, it is all about His disciples catching Fish (remembering that Fish are the symbol of Christianity) and that when Jesus called His disciples in Matthew 4:19, He promised to make them 'Fishers of Men':

"Follow Me, and I will make you fishers of men"Matthew 4:19

Significantly prior to this encounter, before His arrest and crucifixion, Jesus knew that because the nation had rejected Him, Jerusalem would be destroyed and the people would be scattered and this caused Him to weep - we can see this in Luke 19:

41 And when he was come near, he beheld the city, and wept over it42 Saying, If thou hadst known, even thou, at least in this thy day, the things which belong unto thy peace! but now they are hid from thine eyes. 43 For the days shall come upon thee, that thine enemies shall cast a trench about thee, and compass thee round, and keep thee in on every side, 44 And shall lay thee even with the ground, and thy children within thee; and they shall not leave in thee one stone upon another; because thou knewest not the time of thy visitation. Luke 19:41-44

Then following the encounter between the disciples with the 153 fish and the resurrected Jesus, we see the events of the book of Acts, where scripture details the Baptism of the Holy Spirit on the Day of Pentecost and the salvation of about 3,000 on that day. Ultimately this leads us to Saul, who is initially killing Christians, but after an encounter with Jesus has his name changed to Paul and is commissioned to be the Apostle to the Gentiles. Later he would say in Romans 11:25

25 For I would not, brethren, that ye should be ignorant of this mystery, lest ye should be wise in your own conceits; that blindness in part is happened to Israel, until the fullness of the Gentiles be come in26 And so all Israel shall be saved: as it is written, There shall come out of Zion the Deliverer, and shall turn away ungodliness from Jacob: 27 For this is my covenant unto them, when I shall take away their sins.
28 As concerning the gospel, they are enemies for your sakes: but as touching the election, they are beloved for the fathers’ sakes. Romans 11:25-28

This is directly related to what Jesus was describing about the destruction of Jerusalem in Luke 19. Essentially, because the nation had not recognized Jesus as their Messiah, because they did not know the time of their visitation, God raised up Paul, as the Apostle for the Gentiles; and as Paul states, Israel was subjected to a spiritual blindness, in part, until the fullness of the Gentiles had come in.

So, here we can see that a reason for the 7 verses, that are connected to the number 93, that indicates that God's Prophetic Clock has stopped, just like it did in the time of the Judges, when Israel as a nation stopped walking with their God. This has allowed the Gospel to go out to all the world for nearly two thousand years. This is the offer of Salvation, symbolically represented by the 153 fish, in the Gospel of John, that would go out to all people both Jew and Gentile, during the Church Age, that will end with the Rapture.

Contextually, it is also worth noting, that after the disciples catch the 153 fish and have their encounter with Jesus on the beach, Jesus is actually cooking some fish on a Coal Fire. Not only is the coal fire a symbol of purification from Sin that reverses Peter's denial in front of another coal fire, when Jesus was arrested, but it also points back to the book of Isaiah when Isaiah recognized his sinful state and had his lips cleansed with a live coal from the fire of the altar that symbolized Jesus' coming sacrifice:

5 So I said: “Woe is me, for I am undone! Because I am a man of unclean lips, And I dwell in the midst of a people of unclean lips; For my eyes have seen the King, The LORD of hosts.” 6 Then one of the seraphim flew to me, having in his hand a live coal which he had taken with the tongs from the altar. 7 And he touched my mouth with it, and said: “Behold, this has touched your lips; Your iniquity is taken away, And your sin purged.” Isaiah 6:5-7

So, this gives the whole scene an additional theme, being one of the sovereignty of God in Jesus, being the one who is the source of all of the salvation that the Fish are pointing to. Importantly, the fact that Jesus already had some fish that He was purifying on the 'coal fire' which were not part of the 153 fish caught by the disciples (at Jesus' command), this points to those souls that Jesus would directly save apart from His disciples. And this perfectly aligns with all the Iranians, that for some time now, have been reporting of dreams and visions of Jesus appearing directly to them, making Iran, in spite of the murderous Satanically driven Islamic Regime there, to be reportedly the fastest growing Christian nation in the world.

Ultimately, the 6 verses, that are all connected with Genesis 1:1 for a total of 7 verses, both point to the restoration of Israel in Ezekiel 36 and 37, prior to coming Rapture in Ezekiel 38, showing that since the time of Christ, the symbolic 93 has been in play with God's Prophetic Clock being stopped, so that the salvation of Jews and Gentiles, represented by the symbolic 153, could take place in the Age of Grace prior to Rapture, after which God will turn His attention back to His people during the Tribulation, which is the time that Jeremiah (in chapter 30 verse 7) calls the "Time of Jacob's Trouble".

Nothing is random by God and the level of detail to me is astounding and the connection of 93 and 153 to the book of Ezekiel that is pointed to by Genesis 1:1, which demonstrates God declaring the 'End from the Beginning' is highly suggestive that the Church Age of Grace (153) is about to close and the Prophetic Clock (93) is about to be restarted because the next event is the Rapture that is arguably connected with Ezekiel 38.

Final Thoughts

So, the preceding has shown us 5 Triangles, with the number 5 representing Grace:

36 - the 36th Triangular Number is 666 - aligns with Ezekiel 36 and Israel that is in sin and Gods promise to restore them.

37 - the 37th Triangular Number is 703 - aligns with Ezekiel 37 and Israel being physically and spiritually restored.

38 - the 38th Triangular number is 741 - aligns with Ezekiel 38 and the Gog / Magog war and the Rapture

39 - the 39th Triangular number is 780 - aligns with Ezekiel 39 and Armageddon and the Second Coming

73 - the 73rd Triangular number is 2701 - aligns with Psalm 73 and Gods limit to Sin that flows from the Free Will He gave us.

Notably Psalm 73 is about God's limit of striving with the Wicked, as the following shows:

God is good to Israel, but the wicked seem to prosper:

1 Truly God is good to Israel, even to such as are of a clean heart. 2 But as for me, my feet were almost gone; my steps had well nigh slipped. 3 For I was envious at the foolish, when I saw the prosperity of the wicked. Psalms 73:1-3

However, as the 73rd Triangle shows God has put a boundary on the 666s beyond which their judgement comes:

16When I thought to know this, it was too painful for me; 17 Until I went into the sanctuary of God; then understood I their end.
18 Surely thou didst set them in slippery places: thou castedst them down into destruction. 19 How are they brought into desolation, as in a moment! they are utterly consumed with terrors. Psalms 73:16-19

Judgement comes for the Wicked who are destroyed but those grafted into Israel can draw near to Him:

26 My flesh and my heart faileth: but God is the strength of my heart, and my portion forever. 27 For, lo, they that are far from thee shall perish: thou hast destroyed all them that go a whoring from thee. 28 But it is good for me to draw near to God: I have put my trust in the Lord GOD, that I may declare all thy works. Psalms 73:26-28

Essentially, the Heart of God is to save ALL of Humanity and God's Plan to do this is centered in Jesus, the King of Kings. Since a King requires a Kingdom, God starts by creating ISRAEL as a physical nation, so that they can carry the 'Seed of the Woman', who Genesis 3:15 says will crush the head of Satan; and then they can give birth to Jesus, who Matthew quoting Hosea then equates with Israel. So, Jesus embodies all of Israel, such that there is now both a physical Israel and a spiritual Israel - the two coexist.

Since all who are saved will be in Jesus and Jesus IS Israel, then all who are saved are in Israel, which is why Scripture states that All ISRAEL WILL BE SAVED - Jesus cannot be separated from ISRAEL.

Interestingly, if you compile a list of Prophets who were God's representatives to Israel starting with Samuel, who functioned during the days of the Judges, and was the one who transitioned Israel from the Judges to the Kings and anointed both King Saul and King David, you get the following list that shows Ezekiel as the 26th prophet from Samuel:

Ezekiel A Prophet Appointed for the End of Days

Understanding Ezekiel as the 26th prophet, after the beginning of the monarchy, is significant because as we have been discussing Ezekiel is also the 26th book of the Bible. So, it is just further support for the idea that there may be prophecies of Ezekiel that are about to be unleashed upon the world in this current year - 2026.

Additionally, his name has the value of 156 (78 x 2), which can also be understood as:

 130 + 26 = 156

Since 130 means appointed (coming from Adam being 130 when Seth whose name means appointed was born):

25 And Adam knew -- his wife again; and she bore a son, and called his -- name Seth: For God, said she, hath appointed me another seed instead of Abel, whom -- Cain slew. Genesis 4:25

and 26 means God (יְהוָֹה) which reminds us of His sovereignty, then perhaps Ezekiel is truly the book appointed by God in the last days with the 26th year of the 21st century (3x7) being its allocated time in history, 78 years after Israel became a nation again.

The numerical connections are intriguing because the number 780, that was also the value of the 39th Triangular number, that we were able to use to connect Genesis 1:2 to Ezekiel 39 is actually also connected numerically to the idea of being an appointed time (130) for mankind (6):

 130 x 6 = 780

This suggests that the prophecies that end with Ezekiel 39, that will culminate with the Second Coming of Christ, are all appointed in line with all of these other markers that connect Ezekiel to this year.

All of this is actually significant on a few levels because we are currently living at time when the very nation, that God created to establish the Throne upon which Jesus will reign over all the kingdoms of the world, has continually had to justify its existence, even to many who proclaim to be Christian. However, as Ezekiel 38 states - God is about to vindicate ISRAEL, giving it a massive victory and He will be known by many nations as the LORD:

19 For in my jealousy and in the fire of my wrath have I spoken, Surely in that day there shall be a great shaking in the land of Israel;
20 So that the fishes of the sea, and the fowls of the heaven, and the beasts of the field, and all creeping things that creep upon the earth, and all the men that are upon the face of the earth, shall shake at my presence, and the mountains shall be thrown down, and the steep places shall fall, and every wall shall fall to the ground. 21 And I will call for a sword against him throughout all my mountains, saith the Lord GOD: every man’s sword shall be against his brother. 22 And I will plead against him with pestilence and with blood; and I will rain upon him, and upon his bands, and upon the many people that are with him, an overflowing rain, and great hailstones, fire, and brimstone. 23 Thus will I magnify myself, and sanctify myself; and I will be known in the eyes of many nations, and they shall know that I am the LORD. Ezekiel 38:19-23

Interestingly, as I have shown numerous times, Israel is also symbolized by the number 22, as the following shows:

the Hebrew Alphabet has 22 characters.

Jacob who is renamed Israel was the 22nd generation from Adam.

 Israel was reborn in 1948 and 1+9+4+8 = 22

Jesus who Matthew (quoting Hosea) equates as God's perfect son Israel quoted from Psalm 22 on the Cross; and Psalms is the 19th book from Genesis and the 48th from Revelation, basically positioning it as 1948 from the beginning and end of the bible, that again adds to 22

If one ignores the breakaway northern kingdom and counts the kings of the United Kingdom and the kings of Judah that carried the covenant that ultimately represented the whole nation of Israel as it progressed towards the fulfillment of Jesus as the Lion of Judah, then starting with Saul and ending with Zedekiah, there were 22 kings.

So, if Ezekiel whose name (represented by the number 156) is an Appointed Time of God to begin to vindicate Israel (represented by the number 22) and give the nation a massive victory through the Ezekiel 38 War, which I believe will be linked to the Rapture, what happens if you link these two numbers 156 and 22 together - let's see:

156 x 22 = 3432

Then adding this to 1406 BC, the year associated with ISRAEL entering the Promised Land, we get:

-1406 + 3432 = 2026

Given that we have not adjusted for a year 0, this could be either simply understood symbolically as a pointer, or

–1406 + 3432 = 2026 could be interpreted as:

not counting the beginning year (1406)

not counting the ending year (2026)

effectively measuring from the end of 1406 BC to the beginning of AD 2026

Either way the numbers point us to 2026, so it would be unwise of us to ignore them all and fail to consider the implications that are eternal in nature - everything could be about to change.

As the nation of Israel is central to the end-times, it is important to understand how it was founded. In striving and prevailing with God, Jacob prophetically became ISRAEL, and the seed that he carried would eventually lead to the birth of Jesus, who IS ISRAEL, embodying both the spiritual and physical essence of the nation.

The Foundation of Israel - God's answer to Sin

This introduces us to a remarkable aspect of the formation of ISRAEL: Jacob's transformative struggle with God, which led to his renaming as Israel, took place after he had fathered 11 sons, yet before the birth of the last one, who would complete the 12 Tribes of Israel.

This is significant because Jacob as a sinner, a flawed individual, characterized as a deceiver, a heel grabber and supplanter, needed an encounter with God that would radically alter the course of his life before he could fulfill his prophetic purpose. In a passionate plea to God, he declared he would not let Him go without receiving a blessing, revealing his deep yearning for God's presence. Recognizing that Jacob was finally ready, God allowed him to inherit the Covenant Blessings that had originally been given to his grandfather Abraham. This pivotal moment would ultimately lead to the formation of the nation of Israel and the emergence of its eternal King in Jesus, who would reign righteously after confronting the issue of SIN. The timing of these events though is crucial, as it was only after Jacob triumphed in his struggle with God, leading to his name change and prophetic destiny as Israel, that his final son was born.

In this way, the battle with Sin is symbolized by Jacob (the deceiver and supplanter) being associated with the number 11, that later in the book of Daniel comes to symbolize the ultimate 'man of sin', 'the lawless one', 'the antichrist', the 11th horn of the beast. In prevailing with God, Jacob becomes Israel and God seals his prophetic future by giving him his 12th son, with the number 12 being associated with the 'Seed of the Woman', the one who is going to defeat Satan, no doubt in a twist of irony, with His own Heel (which would later also include the 12 sealed Tribes of Israel (the 144,000 (12 x 12,000 in Revelation) and the 12 Apostles of the book of Acts - taking the Gospel to the world).

Initially Rachel, Jacob's wife, wanted to call this 12th Son Benoni, that means "son of my misery" because she was dying as she gave birth to him. However, Jacob who was now Israel, prophetically called him Benjamin, that means Son of my Right Hand, because this Israel was now pointing to the greater Son, who is God's right Hand, who would come into the World to defeat Sin and Death, just before the physical nation of Israel would be scattered to the 4 corners of the earth. Significantly, this battle with Sin that only exists because of Free-Will that in turn had to exist for Love to be manifested, is all pictured mathematically in Genesis 1:1, where we see triangles reflecting the Trinity of God - Creator of Heaven and Earth; and His creation; and His plan to defeat Sin and Death.

God's Mathematical Battle Plan

Firstly, God reveals Himself as 3 and 7 - being 3 persons: Father; Son and Holy Spirit; with a 7-fold Spiritual nature - He is the LORD source of all Wisdom and Understanding and He is our Counselor who is mightybeing the source of knowledge who leads us to the Fear of the LORD (Isaiah 11:2). So, 3 and 7 reveal His nature and together they form the numbers 37 and 73, that symbolize all that exists in Heaven and Earth, as it states in the first verse of the Bible that numerically equals 37 x 73 = 2701.

Importantly, the 73 creates the 73rd Triangular with the value of 2701, that represents the totality of Creation and defines the limits of God striving with Man in His creation. Then, the 37 creates the 37th Triangle with the value 703, at the center of the larger 73rd Triangle. This symbolizes the heart of God at the center of His Creation both in control of it and calling mankind to Himself. The Space between the boundaries of these two triangles (the 37th and the 73rd) is filled with 3 triangles, each with the value of 666, representing both the Free Will of man to choose God, or to Sin.

Importantly, as stated, the 666s of man are bounded by the larger 73rd Triangle, showing God has contained and restricted Sin to allow Him to deal with it and turn it back for His Glory and for His namesake. The way He does this can be understood by remembering that the 3 triangles of 666 have a total value of 1998, that together with God's 37 Triangle at the center, comprise the 2701 that represents the whole of creation. So, God, whose plan was to create a nation that would bring forth the King of Kings, firstly chose to lay down His Life to fulfil the Law of Sin and Death for all of humanity. This decision was made at the foundation of the world and can be seen in the fact that God took the 'free will' of man, represented by 3 triangles, each with the value of 666 that had a total value 1998, and by sacrificing Himself on the Cross, He turned the 1998 into:

999 x 2 = 1998

As I have shown in other articles, the Cross event involved three 9s with scripture supporting that Jesus prayed 3 times for about an hour each time before being arrested at midnight, which is theologically significant in itself. So, this indicates that His prayers began around 9 pm, providing our first 9. Then He was crucified at 9 am, providing our second 9, before dying at the 9th hour (3 pm) to provide our third 9. In this way, the Cross event was marked by three 9s giving us 999, which when multiplied by 2, that represents it was Jesus the 2nd person of the Godhead laying down His life, we have 999 x 2 = 1998.

So God by changing the 666s of humanity into the 999s of His Love and Holiness (remembering that 999 is also the human scale used to describe the purest Gold there is and Gold biblically symbolizes Holiness, which is why it was seen in the Tabernacle in the Wilderness and is seen as the paving in Heaven, and as part of the new Jerusalem), now offers Himself to humanity again, as an act of Grace, but this time around mankind has to individually choose Him. Those that do, see one more transformation of 1998 take place, with it becoming:

333 x 6 = 1998

Numerically, this describes man (6) in a perfect relationship with the triune God (333). Importantly, this 3-stage transformation of 1998 is all the work of God, as the following shows, numerically because at the heart of 666; 999; and 333 is God's personal number 37 that was seen as the center of the Creation Triangle of Genesis 1:1:

Stage 1 - 1998 = 3 x 666 and - 666 = 37 x 18

Stage 2 - 1998 = 2 x 999 and - 999 = 37 x 27

Stage 3 - 1998 = 6 x 333 and - 333 = 37 x 9

We can complete this picture that shows God's personal seal upon all this, by looking at the numbers 36; 37; and 38, that linked us to the chapters in Ezekiel that pointed us to Israel, God's Time piece, and the coming Rapture. When we add them together, we get the following:

36 + 37 + 38 = 111

and notably:

111 = 37 x 3

So the Journey from Creation in Genesis 1:1, that also numerically hides the Creation of Israel and leads us to the Restoration of Israel spoken of in Ezekiel 36 and 37; and possibly the Rapture event of Ezekiel 38 is all a divinely ordered plan of Redemption, devised so that the God of Love, who created all that exists, could have a relationship with man built upon Free Will, throughout all of Eternity.

Then interestingly, if you add Ezekiel 39 into this, because it involves the Second Coming, you have:

36 + 37 + 38 + 39 = 150

and

150 = 50 x 3

As 50 represents the Jubilee, that is about the restoration of all that has been lost, this reveals that there is a divinely ordered restoration plan of all things when Jesus comes in the Second Coming to fight in the battle of Armageddon, which will not be a battle at all, just a judgement of God upon all the wicked, who have gathered together to fight against Him, as is described in the following passage:

11 And I saw heaven opened, and behold a white horse; and he that sat upon him was called Faithful and True, and in righteousness he doth judge and make war. 12 -- His eyes were as a flame of fire, and on his head were many crowns; and he had a name written, that no man knew, but he himself. 13 And he was clothed with a vesture dipped in blood: and his name is called The Word of God. 14 And the armies which were in heaven followed him upon white horses, clothed in fine linen, white and clean. 15 And out of his mouth goeth a sharp sword, that with it he should smite the nations: and he shall rule them with a rod of iron: and he treadeth the winepress of the fierceness and wrath of Almighty God. 16 And he hath on his vesture and on his thigh a name written, KING OF KINGS, AND LORD OF LORDS. 17 And I saw an angel standing in the sun; and he cried with a loud voice, saying to all the fowls that fly in the midst of heaven, Come and gather yourselves together unto the supper of the great God; 18 That ye may eat the flesh of kings, and the flesh of captains, and the flesh of mighty men, and the flesh of horses, and of them that sit on them, and the flesh of all men, both free and bond, both small and great. 19 And I saw the beast, and the kings of the earth, and their armies, gathered together to make war against him that sat on the horse, and against his army. 20 And the beast was taken, and with him the false prophet that wrought miracles before him, with which he deceived them that had received the mark of the beast, and them that worshiped his image. These both were cast alive into a lake of fire burning with brimstone. 21 And the remnant were slain with the sword of him that sat upon the horse, which sword proceeded out of his mouth: and all the fowls were filled with their flesh. Revelation 19:11-21

This is the Creation message all over again because just as we saw in Genesis 1, God is dealing with the Chaos that the Wicked have brought into His perfect Creation, so that Order can be reestablished. Interestingly, this passage starts at verse 11, the number that represents Sin and ends in verse 21, which is 3 x 7, God personal numbers again, revealing His total sovereignty over all of this. Then following this, we have the establishment of Thrones for those who will rule and reign with Christ throughout the Millenium:

4 And I saw thrones, and they sat upon them, and judgment was given unto them: and I saw the souls of them that were beheaded for the witness of Jesus, and for the word of God, and which had not worshiped the beast, neither his image, neither had received his mark upon their foreheads, or in their hands; and they lived and reigned with Christ a thousand years. Revelation 20:4

This will be done from a restored Jerusalem in a restored Israel, as the following shows:

8 And it shall be in that day, that living waters shall go out from Jerusalem; half of them toward the former sea, and half of them toward the hinder sea: in summer and in winter shall it be. 9 And the LORD shall be king over all the earth: in that day shall there be one LORD, and his name one. 10 All the land shall be turned as a plain from Geba to Rimmon south of Jerusalem: and it shall be lifted up, and inhabited in her place, from Benjamin’s gate unto the place of the first gate, unto the corner gate, and from the tower of Hananeel unto the king’s winepresses. 11 And men shall dwell in it, and there shall be no more utter destruction; but Jerusalem shall be safely inhabited. Zechariah 14:8-11

However, for those that want to believe that God can break His eternal covenant promises with Abraham and still maintain that He has replaced Israel with the Church; ignoring so many scriptures to the contrary, they should also remember that scripture pictures the physical nation of Israel as the Woman who gives birth to a Son, who is Jesus; and just as in any other family, the Mother and the Son live together until the Son gets married (aka when the Raptured Bride is in Heaven), the Son does not replace the Mother. So, the nation that gave birth to Jesus will forever exist with Him, as their King, ruling from a new Jerusalem that will descend from heaven. As Revelation 21 shows, the other nations will come and bring their glory and honor into it:

4 And the nations of those who are saved shall walk in its light, and the kings of the earth bring their glory and honor into it. Revelation 21:24

So finally, we have 4 numbers (36; 37; 38; 39) that are numerically connected to both Abraham and the nation of Israel (that God promised to him), as well as to the 'end times', with what I believe are book-ends for the Tribulation, in the Rapture / Ezekiel 38 and the Battle of Armageddon / Second Coming in Ezekiel 39. Then as Ezekiel is as the 26th book of the bible that arguably points to both 2026 and God's Sovereignty in His personal name יְהוָֹה,  that is Yehovah / Jehovah / or Yahweh, it is reasonable to expect to see some dramatic advances in Bible prophecy during this year - and no doubt this is exactly what we are seeing with all that is occurring in relation to the nation of Iran.

Additionally, Ezekiel through God's symbolic number 93, in connection with the 'Son of Man', indicates that the LORD is about to turn 'back on' the Prophetic Clock that stopped around AD 32 when Jesus was crucified. While many of us, including myself thought 2025 was a possibility for the Rapture because of Hosea's Third Day Prophecy and the LORD's 1000 year as a day principle, which would have seen:

32 + 2,000 years = 2032 - for the Second Coming

and then

2032 - 7 years for the Tribulation, resulting in a 2025 pre-tribulation Rapture,

the reality is that Hosea's prophecy remains valid beyond that, as a close reading of it shows:

2 After two days will he revive us: in the third day he will raise us up, and we shall live in his sight. Hosea 6:2

The Hebrew indicates the following:

Here the English words translated as "After two days" is the Hebrew word מִיֹּמָ֑יִם (pronounced as mi-yom-ay-yim). It is a construct word made from מִן (pronounced min) that as the image to the left shows carries the primary meanings of "from or after" while retaining the idea of being a part of something. This means that the Messiah's coming is being described here as occurring any time from the end of the two days onwards, not specifically or strictly on the exact day that the two days expire. So, this alone is sufficient to suggest that if the two days expire in 2032, that would be linked to 2025 (2032 - 7 for the tribulation), then any time after that, including 2026 onward, remains valid for a Rapture to occur.

Additionally, the words translated "in the third day" are in Hebrew הַשְּׁלִישִׁ֔י (the third) and בַּיּוֹם֙ (in the day). Here the words start with the prefix formed from the single letter Bet - בַּ. While this letter can carry the meanings of "at; with; among; by; or; and as", it also carries the primary meaning of "in" thus its translation as such in the KJV etc. So again, if one is being revived "in" the third day, this naturally allows for the revival to be occurring at any time during that day, not just the very beginning.

So, while this prophecy in Hosea, when understood correctly, always allowed for the possibility of a 2032 Second Coming, it also remains valid beyond that into 2033, or even later. However, the primary constraint here is really a contextual one, not a grammatical one, that suggests that people's expectations from reading this text would have seen them place their hope, of being revived and raised up, early in the third day - so clearly, we are close.

God, who is gracious and compassionate, clearly understood how many of us would be looking for His Return:

13 Looking for that blessed hope, and the glorious appearing of the great God and our Savior Jesus Christ; Titus 2:13

He called it the "blessed hope" and gave us texts such as the Third Day Prophecy in Hosea 6:2 (the mirror of 26 - God's Sovereignty number that we have been discussing), so that those of us living in the Church Age, the Age of Grace, would know that we are in the season of His Return. Then because He is a God of Order, I believe He gave us the mathematical connections that we have been examining in Genesis 1:1-2 and Ezekiel 36 through to Ezekiel 39, so that we could know just how close we are, not just the season.

Only He could have arranged such wonderous connections, that in the end, included three mathematical connections (a triad of numbers by the triune God - being 2701; 93 and 153) for 7 verses, both declaring that God (2701- 37 x 73) has completed (7) our Salvation (153) and is about to restart the prophetic clock (93) and come and gather us to Himself in the clouds. I believe it all shows we are almost at the midnight hour, when the cry will go out that He is coming:

6 And at midnight there was a cry made, Behold, the bridegroom cometh; go ye out to meet him. Matthew 25:6

SO, LOOK UP FOR YOUR REDEMPTION IS DRAWING NIGH AND SPEND TIME GETTING TO KNOW HIM AND SHARING HIM WITH OTHERS AS THE HOLY SPIRIT LEADS - AND EVEN IF HE DOES NOT COME BACK AS HOPED IN 2026, WE KNOW HE IS CLOSE.

******* BLESS YOU ALL!!!  *******
